o ok so i am new at this whole YN thing. this is my first shot, so its like this. my mom will not, i repeat WILL not leave me alone! she gives me no privacy. like now for instance she came in my room "what are you doing?" and sat down and stared at me. When i am trying to go to bed she comes and lays down next to me and ends up taking up my whole bed so i have to sleep in the spare bedroom. When i am writing in my journal she will not leave me alone and asks me if she can read it. wtf.
do yall have mom problems or it just me?

Your mom sounds like she is over protective of you. I can see being protective, man she sound over protective.
Maybe she's just trying to spend sometime with you,but doesn't know how to go about it the right way.
Ask her if she is just wanting to spend time with you. If she saids yes then why don't ya'll try planning oneday out of the week to spend the whole day together. Make it a girls day out or Mother Daughter Day or something like.
I know that sound kind of dumb, but you can just try something like that and see what happens.

My mom is pretty understanding, but I still need my space. I think that everyone needs their space everynow and then. I don't know. It might just be me or everyone, but when moms start to ask all of those questions, it just ticks me off.

so I dont know your situation, but everyone has mom problems trust me. What works with my mom is just to simply tell her in an adult and non abrasive way that you would like more space and time for yourself. She just loves you and doesnt want to lose you in your crazy "teenage years" probably.

My mom is like that. The best suggestion I can make is to find some place where she can't find you. An old closet, the woods, school, the mall. Somewhere were you can be alone and not have to worry about her intruding.
I like these calm little moments before the storm.
