In honor of Halloween, we should share ghost stories. Whether real or fake, let's hear what you have to say.

*grabs flashlight* I've got 3 ghost stories for you, & all are local myth. Myth 1: They say in the town of Williams that back in 1890 shortly after the town was founded, a group of pioneer women from the east coast moved into the area. They wanted to make a life for themselves out here in the Arizonan west, so they started a bed & breakfast called The Red Garter. But business was slow & eventually The Red Garter became a brothel as well. One night a few strangers came to town wanting to stay at The Red Garter. Everything was going well at first, but then one of the guys "got rough" with one of the girls. She hit him & told all of them to leave. He felt very disrespected & so did his buddies. So they proceded to rape & kill the girls who worked there. No one ever saw or heard of the strangers again, but they say that to this day The Red Garter, which is still in business, is haunted by the ghosts of the women who were murdered. Myth 2: They say in the town of Williams that back in the early 1900s, a woman killed herself in the local dam. They say that it was because her child drowned in it. No one knows whether or not she killed the child or if it was an accident. Nonetheless she became so overwhelmed with grief that she jumped into the dam & drowned herself. The dam is still there & is a local funspot for fishing, drinking, & even swimming, but they say that the ghost of that poor tortured woman still lives in the water & shows itself on the full moon. Myth 3: They say in the city of Flagstaff that back in the "old west", a man named John W. Weatherford rode into town & opened up the famous Weatherford Hotel. It is said that in the early 1900s, a murder happened in hotel room 59. No one really knows the specifics anymore about who, what, when, or why it happened but they do know that the victim was a woman, possibly a newlywed bride. They say that her ghost still wanders the hotel & only shows itself to men.
YOU ARE NOT PREPARED!

I remember when I was kid I had a ghost experience. About 10 years ago, I came down the stairs of my house when my dad called me. He had news: My grandpa died due to cancer. Like most kids, I cried at the news since I happened to like my grandpa a lot. For days I would remember his death, and then a few weeks later, it happened. It was night and I was laying in bed, my door closed and the lamp on. I don't remember what I was doing at the time, but I do remember noticing some strange occuring in the room. This shadow, I'd say about as tall an adult, came gliding towards me. You can tell where most shadows come from by following the base of them, which leads to the object creating the shadow. This shadow however wasn't connected to anything; This thing wasn't a shadow. It wasn't until it had gone across the entire room that I ran away from the unexplainable black "thing."
Can't say I have had many ghost experiences after that.

*bump* The Gogeet with get you if you don't post in here. In a place called Misty Meadows there is a giant tree, it is called the Old Goat man tree because of all the old man's beard that grows off the branches. There is a legend that the Old Goat man lives under the roots of this tree and eats unsuspecting tourists when they make the mistake of climbing the tree's branches. lol its creepy because there is ACTUALLY a tree in a place called Misty Meadows named the Old Goat Man tree. :P
J'irai bien.
