Hey NOISEmakers,

YouthNOISE needs your help.

Help prove that we aren't all talk and no action.

YOUR MISSION
Use this board to answer the following question "How has YouthNOISE helped you take action, get involved or make a difference?"

For those NOISEmakers participating in the YouthNOISE Back-2-School Challenge, remember your third and final mission will be sent to you ONLY after you post a message.

A NOISEmaker 4 life,

EricaNOISE

P.S. You can also help by spreading the word about YouthNOISE to your friends, parents, and teachers. Let us know if you come up with ideas of how to help us.

I suppose that youthnoise has helped me in the way of altering my perspective, in helping me to understand the America of today, rather than the America portrayed on films imported to England. I have realised the diversitry and analyzed the problems of Americas youth, in my own mind at least, and I think this could be exceptionally valuable for the future. I now also have become an active member of a variety of school commitees for dealing with charity work and how to promote it.

I am a quiet person...very shy at times, and Youthnoise has helped me to grow first in a silent way, and then to my community. After watching a documentary on CNN about the drought in Kenya, I decided to help out, and brought up DEFEATING HUNGER, a campaign to help out the hungry. So far, we've raised $400 only...we are a small school. I hope to get more people to donate money to the WFP (World Food Program)- a branch of the U.N. Thank-you- you've made a difference in not only other lives, but mine as well!

Even before I joined Youth Noise, I've been a volunteer in school, in the Church and in communities. My perspective then was simply to know a lot, make friends and enjoy helping. Yet after I joined Youth Noise, my perspective improved and I am not simply there to help people... I condition myself to change the world. This is something that I have never seen tangible before, as only the television allowed me to move out of my comfort zones and help out. Now, I know that I can make a difference not only to a small community but also to the entire world. After I joined Youth Noise, I still went through my volunteer activities... I still went on with teaching kids, but this time, I employed what I learned from this website. I was also featured on TV recently. I am now being groomed to form and lead a Youth Ministry as well... managed and participated by young people which shows how the we can change the world. c",?

YouthNoise has made me realize how much I can do. I'm very quiet and I don't like rallies and things but if it helps feed the homeless then I don't mind speaking out. I tell everyone about YouthNoise because I think it's an incredible and impacting website. I love it.

YouthNoise has made me more aware of whats going on around the country, and world and I've heard all sorts of different views on things, instead of just what's on the news or what my family says. I've met some really cool people as well, me and someone I met on here are actually thinking of starting some sort of youth organisation.

Youthnoise is new to me really. I just found out about this site. I love to get involved and help people. It has made me realize that I am not the only one who wants to make a difference. It makes me want to work harder. I enjoy this stuff. A smile on someone in need is great to see. Especially if I am the one who put it there. Best feeling ever!
