You may or may not ever be sure of your sexual orientation. In fact, sexual orientation may be entirely an illusion in our heads, with none of us fitting clear categories. It seems to be true for other species.

Just ride with yourself. Don't freak over something so utterly trivial. You find someone who you have a mutual attraction to, there you go.

Many people find themselves attracted to their own sex because of bad experiences with the opposite one, thier own is safer and more comforting and often offers more freedom then hetero relationships.

I think you should keep an open mind before just deciding you are a lesbian, be willing to give other men a chance and to see if your attraction to women isn't just a runaway tactic or simple admiration.

i think you're not. you are maybe just bitter with the opposite sex because of what you have experienced with one of them. thinking some girls are attractive is plain admiration and sometimes is a product of one's insecurities.well,nobody can really say if you're this or that.the key to such problems is knowing yourself more because only you can answer these questions accurately.

Wow. Such nightmarish grammar and lack of punctuation. So glad to see that our public schools do their part to keep these kids edjumakated. Ok now on to the real subject. I agree with Shade, it's very very rare to find people that have "true love" at such a young age. Most youth are fickle and assuming that most of your friends are female, it's only natural to feel closer to those around you. Don't look too far into it right now. At least wait till your mind has matured in order to make that kind of decision

I agree with zest over there. Give it time to get over your bad experience. You're young, and though I hardly believe someone at your age can find true love, losing something like that is hard. Reflect upon yourself, look inside your heart and listen to it. Then you'll know what to do.

I think you find girls attractive because they are the only ones comforting you at this time. you find boys gross because of the bad experience with one guy. I'd hardly call you lesbian but in this society, if you believe it...it's true!
