I want to get my hair cut but i don't know what it should be.. can you guys who care please give me some suggestions??

i'm havin the same dilemma. my hair is arm-pit length and i need something new. personally i love layered styles...they look a lot better on everyone compared to all-one-length. well if u want some real suggestions give me somedetails...is your hair curly, straight,or wavy? flat, frizzy, greasy, dry, fluffy or any other features such as those? wut length is it now? do u have bangs? if answer all my qusetions i might be able to give u some real good pointers...i a fashion/hair expert...ask luvabug...shell tell ya

The bad thing about really long hair is the headaches you get...I get migraines a lot, and having all that extra weight makes it very painful.

My hair is midway down my back.

My hair is just past my shoulders and bangs. I had the same hair since kindergarten. I did have it down my back, but I cut it off.

I have a little past shoulder-legnth hair and all I do is put it in a messy bun. It's easy and it works on everyone.

i have hair that is an inch from my shoulder. I'm thinking of not cutting it for a while. I've had my hair this long since 6th grade. (in 8th now)

See, I don't really have this problem, since my hair nearly reaches my feet. I read an article that says the sexiest hair length is when it just brushes your shoulders...but all of them say different things. Bah. All I can say is: you can always go shorter, but it takes a while to grow. I realize you already know this, but many of my friends have gone for drastic cuts and been really upset. Maybe you could cut out pictures of hairstyles you like, and take them to your stylist? See what s/he thinks would work on you, and what wouldn't?

so what if i don't know if i have nice lips. I know that's really weird but i don't know. I was thinking enough hair to put it behind my ears.

Well, they say that the cut should end at your best feature; it'll emphasize it more. Like, if you have really nice lips, have the pieces around your face just long enough to line up with them. If you have a really big nose (just for argument's sake), you wouldn't want hair that ended at nose-level...get what I'm saying? Love, Jen.
