morganmoo2008, you know he actually did? Did you go and ask him or something? Did god tell you himself? Or was it something you were told by word of mouth... See, just because you're told something doesn't mean it's true. God is illogical, it provides no rational explanation as to how a being can just, be. Where was god before the universe was created? Where'd god even come from? How can we have so many contradicting religions in their belief in god(s)?

Put your money where your mouth is, I just think you are afraid to post your "logic" in public. A lot of philosophers from St. Augustine to Descarte have tried to prove the existence of god through logic but this has always been the sloppy part of their philosophical works. Also from reading your various posts I doubt your attempts would be equal to theirs.

aside from people and places...everything has been proved false. And you can learn and read of and about many ancient people in many other books. People who also lived around the time of the bible. So yes the writers are real...the places are real...but they are also real in anyother story from that time. Anyother book can tell you of people and places and be accurate.

If you asked me, I would say I believe in creation, I would say for lack of better understanding I define God as that force from which we came to be. Do I think Jesus is God? Or do I believe in heaven, hell, angels, voices, satan and revelation? No! Do I think God is a man, a tyrant, bigoted, hateful, indecisive and judgemental? No!

This is why I reject so many religions, God has all the qualities of Humans, immoral humans. God could be a force behind what we call the big bang or the tiniest atom of a first cause, alternate realm or a part of all of us we share. I cannot accept answers of people from 2,000 years past. They wanted to understand our Creation, they made up to the best of their knowledge what that would be. Our knowledge today far surpasses anything they could have ever understood. I can only tell you, something can not come from nothing...there must be a first cause, there must be a reason. This reason as dubbed by so many philosophers and religious people before me...is God.

I know sometimes I may disobey God but I know that He knows that I am sorry and yes I do believe in God!!! He is wonderful and He loves all of us!!

My friends said that & I went to church & the Pastor said "....Kill All Gays..." I read the first page of the Bible & stopped I'm not going to read something that I don't believe in. If I didn't answer all your questions sorry I'm in a hurry.
