this isnt the first and i'm sure not the last time i'll post about religion but o well think about this: typically, a person who is a certain religion usually takes on the religion of those she grew up with and no i'm not just making this up. So tell me, if you are raised in an environment your whole life where you were only exposed to atheism, would you be punished somehow by God because you didnt even know about the concept of God and no one had ever "enlightened" you or "saved" you? I'm not sure if there is a God, and if push came to shove i'd probably say there isn't. If there is a God, I don't think praying to Him does anything, in terms of God interfering in your life or helping solve your problems. And it especially annoys me when ppl pray for good things to happen to themselves, which indirectly are prayers against others, like praying to win a game, etc. It's great if you have such a steadfast faith, but I am coming to terms with the idea that this life may in fact be all that we have and believers PLEASE don't pray for me, if i want to be "saved" i will do it on my own

No; polar bears have existed for hundreds of thousands of years, as science shows, so why would they sporadically appear in the Middle East - an area where they cannot survive - when Noah built his ark? Also, there are billions of species of insects that were living during Noah's time. If they were to all have gone on a boat (two by two - although that would be unnecessary because certain species of insects don't reproduce with other insects), then they would have eaten the boat, the other animals, the people, and each other, IF Noah's boat was big enough to fit them all. Eh. I'll simply dismiss these as fairy tales.

I believe in God with all my heart. I believe he created us and he loves every single one of us with more love and truth that we could ever imagine. So next time your feeling down or just having an overall bad day, remember GOD LOVES YOU!!!!!

How exactly do you find polar bears in the Middle East ?

if you would search the boards, you would find dozens of topics just like yours...and they all say the same, some believe and some don't..... what's the use in knowing?

This will be my second post on this topic. And yes I do believe in God, I mean who else can take and give life(we can live a perfect life, but what happens when suddenly you get in a car accedent what is gonna be the first thing on your mind? God or somthing else?), who else died for us in human form for the sins that He did not commit, could you imagine the pain and suffering He went through? And He did all that for us, and was born from a virgin. He gave His life for us, His own blood. I know all of you think this is crazy, but God is a miracle worker. He can do anything if you ask Him too, and I know that you're going to say that if you ask Him to do it, you're gonna want the prayer to be answered now, but that's not the point, He wants us to be patient with Him. God takes time to work in our lives. "Ask and ye shall receive." I respect all your oppinions, but when you need help who do you turn to, besides your family and friends? When you need reassurance who do you turn to besides your family and friends? What do you believe in? It does not matter what religion you might be in because we all worship the same God, but in different ways. Evolution and Christianity are both acts of faith. So, whatever you beleive in I respect your beliefs.
Thank you for your time, and God bless.

i believe in a higher power but not nesaccarily God. I don't go to church or say my prayers but i think that there is someone up there watching over all of us. I don't really believe in organized religion.

hOw come it is soooo hard for people to believe or see that they dont have to know everything? You dont and let me tell you you never will. And the harder you search to know everything the more likely you will turn into someone who believes in a god or "divine power" ultimately what you were also trying to find or disprove.
