I am not saying it is a set fact I am just saying that it is common. I know you can go through the same things as other people and be depressed. Not naming people. heh. =) Ciao

Oh oh DW I know I know it's because we are open to a lot of things and heteros are stuck up snobs? LoL just kidding but I think that a lot of people that know me (and aren't all like Ewww you're gay) do feel that way about me. Like I am the funnier person to be around out of their group of friends and I am not saying this for all gays because I know a WHOLE LOT of dry not fun at all gay people, but A lot of gay people are very vibrant and outspoken. They have a very positive outlook on life and they have to otherwise all of the discrimination poured out by the masses would crush them. I know that I am always a very upbeat person very cheery and bubbly and I have to be or I would just die from the negativity. Anyhoo. Ciao

quote: They're funner to hang around than straights
Why? Is it because they say that some guy is hot, or that they check out people in public? Those are the only "differences" I can see between GLB people and "straight" people, right? So what makes them funnier or better? Is it personality, or perhaps how they act or what they say? Aren't we all human, just trying to coexist on this world? Why are they better than others? They're just... different. Everyone's different.

I think gay people are cool. They're funner to hang around than straights.I can talk to them about anything and feel more comfortable but as for straights they might make fun of you more. Gay people are very outspoken and really don't care what others think. Sure they put the moves on you when you're out having fun, it really doesnt bother me any. Im just as open just for hanging around them. I love my gay friends just as much as my straight friends. I just wish people would stop hating on gay people. We're all human, just cuz someone prefers the same sex doesnt make them an outcast.

quote: I just don't support for what they do.
But, they don't DO anything. Take my uncle for example: He has a respectable job. He owns his own home and isn't in debt. He dresses appropriately and treats others with kindess and respect. He's the only family member who ever calls me on my birthday! He goes to the grocery store, rents movies, uses the computer. He does everything any other person would do. The only difference is that he is attracted to men. Gays/lesbians do the same things as everyone else. They aren't "DOING" anything wrong, unless you want to state that buying food or talking on the phone or going to the bank is wrong. They don't choose to be what they are, so no one can say they'll go to H*ll for being the way they are becasue God obviously made them that way for a reason. Please don't bash at other human beings who are perfectly respectable citizens for being different.

My best friend is a person around my school that is though of as gay. He really isn't he is just really outspoken. Also it doesn't mean that hurts him a lot. I think that the word gay isn't taken seriously. Some people don't even know what that means really.

You know what it isn't right, but yet doesn't it happen every day. I don't hate them... I just don't support for what they do.

In my school you know who's gay and who's not. You either know through someone telling you, or just because of the way they openly act. Homophobia is not a big deal, infact i've only known one homophobic.
I thought I was homophobic too, until I met one of my good friends. Now, I just want to hurt him. I'm actually contemplation my sexuality myself.
One other big issue at my school, is people who act gay, lesbian or bisexual for popularity reasons. That gets on my nerves.

i have the same eexperience as you. This girl in my class is a lesbian and is actually pretty cool. She makes me and others laugh. I see nothing wrong with her. She's just another human. All that's diffrent is what she prefers. Who cares?

i dont hate gays... i think they are fun coz they are the people who really talk loud a lot. It makes me laugh whenever my gay friend would talk about his crush with my friends. Gays might be different, but they sure are fun to be around. Well, i dont know if it applies to all, but from my experience, they are good friends.

While I don't hate gays, I still think that homosexuality is immoral. But the people I can't stand are those who hate them because they are nasty. It pisses me off to hear in my debate class is when some kid comes off saying that they are against homosexuality because they think it is nasty. That's not a real reason, and they don't have much of an oppinion on the issue. Another thing that happened while in debate class was a girl up share a speech about homosexuality in front of class and shared a bunch of bible verses and used the phrase I belive through out. While I feel the bible is accurate in every word, in the midst of a class in a secular school, speaking to secular students you have to either 1) present an outside source confirming what ever part of the bible you are quoting or 2) show how an opinion held by the bible is true by something that happens in the everyday world. For my speech I did the latter. It was on homosexual adoption, and for my first reason I stated that homosexuality should not be taught to kids because it's immoral, but when it came to stating why I said because of the consiquences, and shared on how STDs where widespread among gays. Sorry if i rambled on, just sharing my thoughts

How about Jude Law and Brad Pitt? quote: The word homophobic is over used by the gay activists.
Yeah. Just like the word racism has been over used by racial minorities. I'd even go so far as to say that racism and homophobia don't exist. And if I said that, I'd be talking out of my ***, like you, and we could start a club.
When the president talks to god are the conversations brief or long? Does he ask to rape our women's rights and send more farm kids off to die? Does God suggest an oil hike when the president talks to god?
