For all you kids out there who babysit, is there a special game or craft that your kids really like? The kids that I'm gonna be babysitting are like 4 and 8. Also, is there any special thing that helps kids wind down to go to bed? HELP! lol. Thanks guys! -kw

baking cookies with the kids always works nd then u eat the cookies with a glass of milk nd they go to bed. You might also want to sandwich in a movie while the cookies are baking

I had to sing to two seven-year-old boys until they fell asleep. And I didn't know there favorite lullaby. It was hell. Well, atleast I didn't lose them. I would've been horrified. The one stayed pretty entertained watching the government channel, or whatever it is. He explained to me that it is the only channel kids should watch. And that cartoons, etc. are only for babies. it was impossible to get him to have fun

I babysit often. my least favorite part is putting them to bad beause they always want to see hteir mommy or daddy before they go to sleep. I dont usually do crafts with them, I play make believe a lot. I think its fun, because each kid has didferetn interpretations fo things thy want to do. For instance, I played spirderman with one kid and we used yarn as the his string. That was fun. I played pooh bear with the other kids. I always find make believe can take up a lot of time too.

Yeah, I know what you mean, though. When I was babysitting last weekend I had the 5 kids again, and I lost the 3 year old for about 3 minutes, and I was about to die. An hour though... wow that really sucks.
Any ways, the kids had came from California to stay with this man becuase there dad had abused them. So it was like 10 at night, I couldn't find the one kid, two of them had locked themselves in a room, and the one girl had just got a call from her dad who had threaten to take her away from her mom forever and kill her or something. So shes crying, and then I hear this loud noise start beeping throughout the house. About five minutes later I find out it's the burgalar alarm and it says trouble call police. That was a hell of a night.

Yeah, it's funny NOW. But then, it was terrifying. I couldn't find her for hours...then, what with the police and 911...and it turns out she was ASLEEP down there, which is why she didn't cry. My life is a farce.

lets see...im good at this kind of stuff! ok first of all, a good craft to do with them is cooking up a vat of lsd, its easy and fun! you can use various household products to do it too! im sure if you look around on the internet you can find many sites to aid you with the production of lsd in the home! the kids will enjoy it and so will you! and a game you can play after wards is uhm twister! but in order to make sure the expirience is fun, make sure soothing music is playing so that they may not have whats called a "bad trip" now, for bed time,i suggest sitting them in front of the tv and injecting mass quantities of heroin into their veins...that's always worked for the kids ive babysat! -mike
