hey its mel. the one(1) was meant to say that it was my first poll on this awsome site! I guess some are wanting to know more on my story. I was neglected by my mom, my father left when i was 5, my mother's recent boyfriend beat me(she hid the info.), and he sexually melested me.I was pressured into having sex with a gangster who would've beat me to death. I was sucicidal for a while. My now, best friend, but then some kid, had brought me to church and i slowly recovered from there. Now i want to show the world that i pulled through and anyone else can too! And i did it all with GOD. I don't care who knows that i love GOD more then anyone in the universe. I really first understood god at a "Aquire the Fire" event i went to this past year. I also think that is true, about being a group or uniting to have faith. When i grow up i want to be a religous worker and help troubled/sucicidal teens. I have a great passion to help others. Thanks ,

what holds us together is strong faith.

a god can be our faith, our optimistic minds, etc.

i believe that unity, not so much god, is what brings us together for faith.
