I live for the small joys in life. To me, happiness isnt having everything in place in your life, its the simple pleasures.

To maybe, possibly, some day be as good or better than the one, the only, the best guitarist ever, Jimmy Page.

___That's depressing and shouldn't be something worth settling for. And I think you know it. I just hope things get better for you and you realize that too.

Yeah, well, she left at a bad time...after Eric started beating me up, but before he killed himself, when I A) was not depressed B) was not a self-injurer and C) had a completely different personality (or seemed like I did). Almost none of my friends have been able to deal with the changes, I don't want Liz to have to either. She dealt badly enough with the whole him beating me up thing, I really don't want to see how she deals with the covered-in-scars thing, thankyouverymuch. What can I say? I'm a coward. Better just to stick with lockets and memories.

___She should be honored to deal with your instability. It should even make her feel better about herself. If it's not already about loyalty and betrayal... what's with the lockets? You don't get lockets together if you plan on ditching each other for better things over petty discrepancies such as distance and time. You probably know more about me than you do about her and you don't even know my name, gender, location, or anything. Long live the internet, destroying one distance problem at a time.

Nah, I hope she's happy. We were friends before we worried about stuff like betrayal and loyalty. It's nice that way. I'm glad she left before I got really ****ed up. Memories and all.

"""why should she have to deal with me being an emotional wreck?"""
___That's what "Lisa-Frank-best-friend-locket-friends" are for. Why else would you have kept your's if you didn't remain loyal to her? She needs to suffer!

Like I've said before, I don't expect much out of my friends (except two, that is). It's not Liz's fault; why should she have to deal with me being an emotional wreck?

"""I'd prefer not to find out what she thinks of me now."""
___Is that doubt I detect? Where has all the true friendship gone? If I had a friend who had left me in my hour of need I'd expect her to love me forever just like we said we always would. I think I'll use people search to get in touch with little Miss. Betrayal and give her a complimentary piece of my mind.

Her name was Elizabeth Vinnia, and I'm sure she still remembers me, though I doubt she kept the locket. I've thought about trying to get in touch with her, but I'd really rather not. I'm a lot different than I was then, I'd prefer not to find out what she thinks of me now.

___What's her name, do you remember? Do you think she remembers you, do you think she still has her locket?

Heh, I'm not really offended. And I'm fairly sure they're not considered cool...I usually keep this one tucked inside my pocket, to avoid looking like a complete and utter freak. I only kept it cause my best friend gave it to me, before she moved to Virginia, and because I'm a packrat who never throws anything away.

___The probablity that anybody in the world would get offended by what I said about Lisa Frank lockets is so slim that I am just verbally petrified. The only thing the comes to mind is "Are you serious?".

___I feel like I've expected to much of young people. Lisa Frank lockets being cool? As much as I thought it was impossible, The Twilight Zone just got creepier.

Hey, don't insult the Lisa Frank lockets! *stares at the locket attatched to her belt loop* Okay, it's lame, but they are kind of sweet. I got it when I was eight, damnit. Leave me alone.

"""Will you ever get over the 'best friend' thing?"""
___Not as long as it's working.

"""You obsess over nothing."""
___On the contrary, I am getting myself a substantial amount of pleasure out of watching you obsess over what I think about your relationship with Marnie(as if it mattered in the first place).

"""I didn't forget you!"""
___Awwww, that's so sweet. Best friends forever! You two should go out shopping together and pick up some of those lovely Lisa Frank bestest friend lockets.
