___Yeah, hope's just a pretty way of saying you base your life on delusions. But when things really are bad, it can be quite useful to help edge along a transition to something that is worthwhile, because it has no limit to where it can be applied. It's a desperation tool for the motivationless.

Happiness is the meaning of life? Thats what I thought but then I saw Dogma and realized the reason we're here is "Bloop" and poking one another's noses. Then I saw Monty Python's The Meaning of life and realized that it was to have thrity children, become obese and vomit on everyone.

Actually the universe song from that movie must hit it pretty close.

Hope does get us far... but that's all it is: hope. It doesn't make anything brighter, it just makes it seem brighter.

The things I live for are what most politicians in the world are against...like peace and justice and brotherhood, and what not
