Purpose Driven Life is okay. It's so basic and beginner that I get extremely bored with it. It's like confirmation all over again.

The one book that I absolutely LOVe and that everyone should read, is the novel I'm working on right now. It's called Mahogany Marionette, and it's a great love, action, and music story rolled into one.
It starts out as the story of a teenage girl, who desperately searches to find her true self. But with all of the things going on around her,it's sometimes hard to breath. First, her father is caught red handed schaeating o her mother, which breaks the family apart, and then she has her first with the coolest guy in school, who isn't so cool afterward. And that's only in the first chapter. This book is full of twist, as well as following a hip-hop love story, that will have you turning aevery page.
And here's a little more information, don't try to figure out the plot, cuz ya never know until you tunr the last page. And as for lvoe, it can be found in all of the wrong places. If you want a copy of my book, hit up my noise mail, and I'll be sure to send you one, no charge. I few good critics and you guys may be just the puch I need.

I recently read Angels & Demons by Dan Brown. Though a bit Hollywood-esque, there are many twists and turns, a true thriller. Rating : 4 stars out of 5

Ah yes. Barnes&Noble, the story of my life takes place in there.

"I am Jewish" is a good book I'm reading over there right now. I'm too poor to buy it so i eat it up every time i go over there.lol

I eat "Eragon" when I go to the mall. I'm waiting for that to come out in paperback. Christopher Poulini or h/e his last name is spelled is a genious! Smile

I love series of books, so here goes...

1) Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis

2) Anything by Don Coldsmith (yes it is a series, I believe it's the Spanish Bit saga..don't remember...)

3) The People seris by W. Michael Gear and Kathleen O'Neal Gear.. starts with People of the Wolf and ends with People of the Masks

4) The Visitant by the same authors as above

5) The Sumonning God by same as above

6) Bone Walker by same as above.. (yes this is a Trilogy, but I don't know what the title of the trilogy is >_<Wink

Good books.... Wink Big Grin Cool

Check those out, they're amazing. I'd suggest reading the People series before jumping into Don Coldsmith. It starts very slow, but picks up very, very fast. The Don Coldsmith books are a bit easier to read... it doesn't talk about things that are hard for the concious mind to grasp as much.

Everyone needs to go on a quick trip to Barnes and Noble and shell out $23.95 for "Sunshine" by Robin McKinley. Yes I know thats expensive for a book but it's so worth it.

In my opinion I thought it was poor. It definitely isn't as good the hype is building up to be. The idea of the story was interesting, but it just got to the point of being boring half way into the book.

Has anyone read The Da Vinci Code yet? That sounds interesting-- in fact, I've just recently read a nonfiction book about cryptography and codebreaking, which was fascinating as well. My mom's just started reading The Da Vinci Code; I'm going to swipe it from her when she's finished.

In my opinion I thought it was poor. It definitely isn't as good the hype is building up to be. The idea of the story was interesting, but it just got to the point of being boring half way into the book.
