I'm in charge of my life but God does play a big, big part. I do wholeheartedly believe in Him but I make my own choices. I think about him with bout every decision I make, but I do make them. My parents are in charge of parts of my life just because I live with them and I will continue to do so for bout another year.

How the hell does Eminem's song "Criminal" relate to your parents trying to control you?

I'd like to think that I'm in charge of my own life but sometimes it doesn't feel that way. My house is like a prison.

No problem, I like to see someone who actually considers what you say in a debate.

I'm getting to this...if you haven't noticed I have about 30,000 other arguments going on...but this one actually takes a bit of thought.

You said: quote: By saying medical use was exceptable...but let us not forget. Corinthians 3:16, where we are told that our bodies are the temple of God. However, what most forget, or never knew to begin with, is that in Matthew 15:11 Christ specifically says that it's not what goes into the mouth that defiles the body; rather it's what comes out - such as hate, evil speech, and lies. And in Genesis 1:29, where God states quite clearly that he made "every" plant and "every" seed to be used by mankind. God created marijuana, coca (which contains cocaine), and poppies (which contain opium) for use by humans. To deny this truth is to deny God's absolute truth.
I'll start by saying this, When God created the earth, he did not place every plant we have today on it, In Genisis 3:18 it clearly states that God created thorns and thistles to cause man problems because of his sin. Now, if you research thorns and thistles, not all of them are sharp pointy stickers, I also believe that there were not any weeds, I havn't researched what kind of weeds are considered thorns or thistles, but I would guess it's a great many of them. One more thing, what about the plants and berries that are poisonous to humans? Should we just eat those and not worry about the effects? In Matthew 15:11 it says that it is not what goes in that defileth a man, but what comes out. I realize, that my earlier argument was not the best, I hope I can reddeem it now. It is one thing for something to defile you,(and Jesus was talking about your words there,) It is a whole other thing for something to poison you. Enough studies have been done to prove that long term use of these types of drugs will poison your system to some degree. Now, one more thing that you are forgetting, the other animals on the earth had to eat something. And God placed man in the garden of Eden, here's a theory, it would have been possible that God, thought hey! I don't think that I want them eating poisonous plants or berries. So I will place every plant and berry that is a good thing in the Garden, and anything else outside of the garden for the dinosaurs and other giant mammals that might have been able to use a boost of energy LOL! but seriously, Defiling is one thing. Poison is another.

Hey guys, I'm sorry I haven't been answering your posts, the site was under construction and it was not letting me log on. I found a way around it, so I can continue the debate.
Also, I have so much going on on weekends, that it is hard for me to answer posts then sometimes. So, I haven't abandoned the debate, I'm just a little busy, and will try to respond during weekdays as much as I can.

In your most recent post, you said: quote: Evolution does not apply to none living things.
What kind of matter was used in the big bang, living, or non-living? Oh, I take no offence when you said that I didn't understand some of the material we have discussed, I do these debates in order to have a greater understanding of what I am arguing. It forces me to keep up to date with what I believe, therefore allowing me to learn more in order to debate. Also, I will try not to use anymore material that is not scientifically subjectable.
