We got yelled at today in band, because we dont know our parts. actually everybody except me and the rest of the clarinets got yelled at, because we are cool like that. i mean its so dumb. the trumpts are so freaking quiet a and the flutes are too loud. thats messed up. but its all good. i guess. they better fix it before our concert, otherwise we are going to suck. but that happens. so i guess im not too worried about it. oh and ICELAND, you better not copy the BNA other wise we are going to, uh, well, im not shure what yet, but it will be something. ahh the power of nerds in large numbers...

It's not too hard to master, and I'm sure you could learn it in about four years if you found a private teacher or a beginning orchestra.

Today Megan moved her arm toturn a page really fast, part of her flute hooked on a button on her sleeve, and half of her flute flew ten feet through the air about an inch past the teachers face in the middle of a really loud, fast part. It was hilarious.

I used to like band but I quit because the teacher was a jerk and totally discouraged me.

I envy you so very much. I've wanted to play violin for years, but there are no instructors in this god-forsaken town. We have no orchestra, and no choir, except for church choir. We have a band, but it only has twenty five members, fifteen of which are woodwinds, seven of which are flutes. It's a very quiet band.

hmm...I was soprano first my first year and then soprano second my second year. It was fun while it lasted. But then after I joined the dance team that's really all I wanted to do, so I stayed in dance for 3 years, those were some of my best years in high school.

im not in band or whatever.. but im personally not into the whole band thing as a class cuz.. band kids end up gettin good credits for jus basically usin their "talents/knowledge" of playin an instrument.. i dont think its fair or anythin.. PLUS.. i can care less about band.. most are kind of geeks in my school anyway.. NO OFFENSE to all of u.. its jus how i feel.

I would love to join a band. Like the jazz band maybe, or possibly a band where I could play the drums or guitar.

I play guitar... well kinda. Does 3 months count? Probably not. But I dont play in the band or anything. I also played trumpet and clairnette in band for two years each. And then On June 15,2003 I woke up and decided I wanted to play the guitar. Well, thats the boring history behind me and my guitar.

i played for band in junior high. Our 140+ piece High School marching band is one of the greatest in our state; infact, we're more proud of our band than our football team, they suck! 1 out of every 3 students at our school are involved in the band program and 1 out of every 5 are in the marching band or one of the other groups supporting it like flag corp and drill team. In our school we call the band "The Cult." cause that's kinda what they are; nah, but really, they're just a really close family, and anyone who knows people in the marching band is part of that family too; personally, i'd say about 75% of my friends are in the marching band.
