I knew that sex happened because the people "loved each other" and that it was enjoyable for the people involved. 11 years old is like 6th grade. i don't think you can say "As a senior you are automatically ready to have sex. it's different for everyone, but I am positive that noone is ready before the age of 13.

well I guess I'm going to side with Darth on this one (shocking I know...) I think it's dumb to say that sex is "sacred" That being said, 14 is super young to be having sex b/c it's not safe and your body isn't biologically ready to do that. You should wait not b/c of like anything "sacred" so much as for safety reasons and STD's and such. Always use a condom.

Mostly it's media. It shows that that is the proper norm. Even though they don't show children having sex, they do sort of implement that teens do it in the movies. Naturally, kids wonder what it's like and they give it a try.

i agree with you alot of people seem to lose their virginity before high school now. Some people feel as if it's something they need to do and if they don't they are left out. Also some feel they have nothing better to do.
