Yeah if you look at something and it doesnt move you or put any feeling into you, its a failure as an art piece.

Look at Ansel Adams' work. I did my MGRP on him, and found myself browsing through his portfolios, there are pictures that take my breath away. *That's* art.

to me...yeah it is an art...u wanna capture images that are either beautiful, solemn, subtle, or even surreal to you. photography is an expression of what you see and what interests you.
the angle of which you take the picture in is how u feel it looks in its best form. so yeah, it kinda is an art...

It is, to know the angle and place and lighting to take the picture, it's really amazing what some photographers can capture: feelings and moods, etc. Wow!

Photography is definately an art! It does take a lot of practice to get the perfect pictures. At one point in my life, I wanted to become a photographer(and still do, just not for a living.).

I was driving down Main Street in downtown Dallas after the Chevelle show when this was taken ...now that I know I could probably get a decent shot, I wanna try for the entire skyline

Photogrophy IS art. I don't care what you say. I love to photograph stuff. It's so fun! It helps me relax. I have, like, six photo albums!

Art is a way of expressing yourself. When you draw you're thinking about something and what you draw is how you express yourself. So is sculpting and painting. Photogrophy is the same. You take a picture of something you like. You might take a picture of a butterfly in a flower when you're happy and a black and white picture of an old burned down building when you're sad.
