Hey Joey, I just made that up as I went along, it sounded good, so I typed it. lol... but yeah, sure, you can use it for your photo page thing. That's what I do in my free time, I make up phrases, and write poetry, it sounds kinda dumb, but hey! Well I got to go, holla back.

I like the diagonal in the smokestack picture. Very nice. Good contrasts in the county jail, and an intriguing artistic rubble sort of theme to it. Still like your black and whites the best.
I just had a woman come up to me on the street and ask me to show her around town and pose for pictures...guess it's what I get for going out in my Victorian wear. I gave her a full tour, and she's going to send me copies of the pics. Maybe I'll post a few of the ones where you can't see my face (yes, yes, I'm paranoid). There's one of me in the gazebo me in profile and the hat covering most of my face...I'll see how it turns out. She showed me some of her work (she's assembling a portfolio for college) and it's very good.
Love, Jen.

Did you get this somewhere, or did you just make this up as you typed? I wanna use it lol for my Photo Page hehe. But um, thank you guys for the comments; not a pro, but I am committed to practice, practice, practice ...and at being patient. New photos have been added: http://www.joeydauben.com/PhotoPage.htm

my friend beth is a photographer, and it is definitly an art; certain images that she takes express certain human emotions and desires and only some who is really in touch with the asthetic nature of things would understand.

OF COURSE IT'S ART! As long as you can feel it, as long as when you're doing it you feel apasionate and deep! As long as you love it...it's art! 'cause real art is about feelings, about emotions, if someone says something else, IT'S WRONG! Just feel it, don't CARE about what other people say or think, as ;long as you feel it, insted of doing it! Peace OUT

No way. The best type of art is obviously poetry...
In reality, I don't think there's a BEST type of art. But that's just me.
Love y'all, Jen.

But the best type of art is music.

I say it's art in the same way I think some movies or short films are art too. Some of the most beautiful compositions I've ever seen were photographs. I think it broke away from the technical boundaries when more and more ways of taking pictures became possible. With options like the colors it's taken in, lighting, double exposures, zoom depth and now photo shop editing tools... there is this new mountain of choices the artist can make in order to present a final project. But perhaps it isn't as revered as drawings/paintings and sculptures are because even though you go through the trouble of finding the beauty and positioning the camara, really all you HAVE to do is capture it-NOT create it. However, I still believe that they both take talent. So what art IS... is in the eye of the beholder. Not everybody enjoys the same sort so in any case, it's good to keep variety while NOT setting a definition for what art is allowed to be.
