i think photography can definately be an art.....there are so many cool things you can do with photography like the way you set the picture up, the lighting, the angle you take it at and all that stuff....its so great...i love photography....

I consider it an art because ultimately I believe aesthetics are relative. So if one considers it an art it is art. I'll save my remarks on my own distaste for Ayn Rand.

B&W is my absolute favorite...caters to my aritistic sensibilities, I guess. You get a mood that you don't get with color; it feels like you get to the core of a subject...I prefer it in almost all cases. Unfortunately, I couldn't take a good picture if my life, the lives of my family, and the fate of the entire world depended on it. I'll stick to my pens and brushes.
