Well, I was trying to save up money so I could later donated it to somewhere. I didn't tell anyone about the money until somehow my family found out. Ha, my sister would ask me for money but she would pay me back with interest if it was late (That was her idea!!! Not mines!!! I'm not that evil!!!) and my mom paid me back too but it was my brother that I had problems with. He kept calling me selfish and all this stuff so I ended up gaving up all my money and somehow my brother still calls me selfish and all this stuff.
I have nothing now!!!!
So now I am trying to find a job that pays enough money for my family and for me to save on helping others. If I have to, I will get two. However, I been having trouble finding a job that my mom agrees on. See the thing is she doesn't want me to get a job and that is that.
I could volunteer. However, that's a whole other story with my mom, lol.
So I just do with what I got. I help my friends!!!!
i don't volunteer.there aren't many organizations here managing voluntary activities,except schools.but in my city,the teachers pick to kids,we can't go to help voluntarily.i used to carry a box with my classmates and walk around to collect money for blind kids.not anymore after i left that school. i donate to the hope project(helping kids under poverty in china with their education),the red cross and some smaller charities,can't remember their names...
i spend time teaching math to mentally challanged elementary students. i did a secret santa thing with my church for needy children in our community. i always remember to click on the just one click things. and i hope to join up with my local habitat for humanity thing.
i want to do more help overseas but dont have any money... like... at all... any ideas?
i usually just volunteer at school..theres not much i can do around here, but every activity they need volunteers at im there...no one usually shows up, and that sucks!!! i volunteer at church too..yeah woo hoo go me
I help rebuild and fix up houses in my community for older people or poor people who either can not afford or are unable to do work needed. I also donate money to the local schools in my area, there are alot of them and they need alot of help. Kids in my area are not learning and what they can learn is on old equipment and outdated text books. However this last year I believe our schools got somewhere in the area of 98 million and the school superintendent said they needed more. It's pretty sad we let our schools get that far behind, and not only our schools...our future.
I volunteer by sending mail to chronically ill kids in the hospital with the Hugs and Hope Club for Sick Children. I've helped talk a suicidal teen back into living. I helped found the Abby Glaser Children's Heart Fund, and donate and volunteer at every event that has. (Anyone in KS or MO...come on out to Abby's Run for the Heart www.AbbysRun.com ) Been waiting, and I finally turned 14, so I'm hoping to volunteer at the hospital next summer.
I volunteer three days a week for five hours each day at my local senior center, i absolutely love it because not onlyy am i helping out my community, seniors are very eager to tell stories about when they were my age. I'm learning so much and it's just an overall great experience. Oh, i volunteer at the local hospital two days a week!
