Because my country has sold its soul to corporate power,
Because consumerism has become our national religion,
Because we've forgotten the true meaning of freedom.
And because the "War on Terror" has hijacked our national agenda.
I pledge to do my duty, to take back my country.

American Youth Community Service stands proudly side by side with our friends.
Help us to regain our freedoms and strike down Patriot II, FISCA courts, the ban on gay marrage in the US and other attacks on human rights and civil liberties. Help us to stop the war profiteers and other bigots in the world.
Do community service and fight for human rights.
DO your part to make sure that "government of the people, for the people and by the people, shall not perish from the earth."
