Once I had to write an essay in school about what community means to me. It was a somewhat difficult subject to write about. After all what is the exact definition of Community. But in the end I realized that community, to me, means a group of people who are brought together, people who are unified notonly because they live next or near to each other, but because they care for each other. THat's what a community is to me. What does it mean to you? Just Wondering....?

i think a community simply means,a group of people who come together through the means of LOVE,CARE,AFFECTION,PHILANTHROPY,TRUTHFULNESS,etc,and and decided to share it amongst those who dont have the priviledge to have them.

we had a question like this in my LA class. but to me a community can be a lot of things because there are a lot of different types of community. there can be the global community, a local community, family community, religious community, and lots more. so depending on which exact community you want to focus on, they are all different and mean different things.
