Who thinks its possible to teach yourself everything that a public school would? I believe its possible but, it requires self-motivation and discipline. Its not easy as it sounds, I've been teaching myself since I was 12 years old, I slacked and now I'm far behind in many subjects, I have no trouble understanding it, just remembering what I learned no matter how long I study on the subject is difficult. I have bad memory I suppose. My advice would be never try teaching yourself unless you have self-motivation and discipline. I'm struggling to work up the time that was lost, I'm turning 18 in nearly less than three weeks and I still barely know anything.
