Hey everyone.
Before I start, I just want to let everyone know that I'm not trying to sound like a preacher or something. I just want to know if other people my age see what i see.
I don't know if any of you guy's notice, but our world is getting to the point of being out of control! I mean everywhere you turn, there is another war taking place, more people dying of aids, more poverty statistics, more corruption. I am just in awe at what the world has come to. And quite frankly... I'm scared. All over the world, lives are lost, hopes are shattered, the sacred become unsacred, the church falls away from God, and people just give up! I was shocked when just recently I saw suicide statistics.
Do you know how many children grow up fatherless, or motherless, or both. More than 53 percent of the U.S. population has had a divorce, when just two years ago it was less than 45 percent! What will it be in 20 years? In the Bible, marriage was considered the most sacred relationship, other than the one made with God, and now look at it!
In my local area, a 32 year old man shot and killed a 13 year old child, for steping on his grass! A child! I am just so disgusted at the human race right now! And I just want to tell someone, anyone that will listen, that we have to get right with God before he comes back! And by the looks of things, that wont be far off. Some of you may critisize me for saying this, but we have to get right with God, and we have to do it quick. I just want to let you know that we don't have much time, and I would hate for people that I know to not be ready when He comes! And alot of us may die before he comes, but what if you die and you're not ready? You could walk out of the house tomorrow and get run over by a car, or you could be eating breakfast and choke. I'm not trying to scare anyone, I just guess my point is- We don't know when our time on this earth is over, but when it is, we have to be ready! So please, if you read this post, listen to the words, don't just pass them of as meaningless!
Thank you soooooo much for reading this post, I hope it can make a difference. Maybe not for mankind, but if this touches at least one person, that's enough!

christans are fearful to go against their "god", so they dont question their leaders, other people drawn in are so by fear of hell. so that is a god of fear.

Celtic, I never said that people don't have free choice. In the first scripture verse, it said " So make up YOUR minds..." Implying that the person chooses, not that they are forced to believe.
And the God I believe in is not a God of fear. He is a God of love, mercy, and forgivness. I personally am not afraid of Satan. Being afraid of him is also a choice. Some people choose to live their lives in fear. I on the other hand, know that I am protected by the hand of God.
And like Shananana said, those Bible verses are there so people can choose whether or not to read them. If people have a problem with the Bible they should leave. Now don't get me wrong, but there are some people that believe that since they are christians, they are holier than everyone else, and they cast judgement on people that are not like them. To me that is completley wrong! No one person is greater than the other, God made us all equal and "perfect" in his eyes. Now I am a Christian, and that is all that matters to me. I don't like to get into denominations, cause it causes more conflict, but I believe, no matter what denomination you are, as long as you accept Jesus Christ as you personal Savior, you shouldn't be afraid of Satan, the Apocalypse, and Hell. And if I were to stop posting Bible verses, I will be going against what God said in Revelation- " Don't keep the prophecies in this book a secret" I can't stop posting them because a couple of people feel uncomfortable, I'm uncomfortable with plenty of things on this site, but they continue. Besides, some of you may not want to hear it, but what if one person does, what if they want to learn about Christ. I don't think you would want to feel responsible for that person not learning that there is someone that loves them unconditionally. So please, if you feel offended by anything, than by all means don't come to this post, but I hope that the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.

I'll stop quoting the Bible when I find it to be irrelevant to what's going on. It's just like someone quoting Webster's Dictionary when they want to get into the meaning of something, or like when someone quotes an article that relates to the topic. If you don't want to read Bible quotes then leave. I don't like what everyone says on this site, and I have the freedom to just not read the posts or just not come to the site.

What a horrid misconception. Christianity is about the ability to forgive and be forgiven. Christianity is synomic with freedom and light.

I couldn't read all you wrote,liv4God but l figure you feel the world is getting weird and irksome..It's obvious no doubt.My country is one of the most religious of the world,there are up to a million churches here and the society is still a wreck.I go along with you.

if you are a true Christian though, you are not afraid of going to hell, or afraid of the apocalypse of afraid of Satan, because you know where yur going when u die... its really not a religion about judging either-- however it is true that God will judge everyone in the end-- whether someone is going to Heaven or Hell-- for me, i know i'm going to Heaven-- i have that assurance in my faith... sorry-- im not trying to preach on ya-- i didnt mean to write this much... sorry!

please tell me you dont believe the book of revelations or the apocalypse. this is the exact reason why i dont like christianity, becasue it's a religion about fear; fear of ging to hell, fear of the apocalypse, fear of satan, etc. and because it's a religion about judging.

anyways, i think as long as you personally do good or do whatever you think is good, you shouldnt worry, because not EVERYONE is evil. the prob is, the news doesnt say "A charity fed more than 200 kids in Africa today," for example, it says "Three bombs have fallen in Iraqui ground and killed 150 civilians". again for example.

The world's not going to end. The human race is doing alright if you ask me, better than the middle ages. What Christian denomination are you?
