Your opioin to Get our priorities straight for those advocating against animal abuse was well, frankly Stupid!

Many issues in the world need to be addressed and fixed one of them being Animal Abuse. Becasue one chooses a certain cause to advocate and beleive in does not mean that they do not care about the others. How about trying to help more than one cause. Are you capable of that?

People are just as important as animals and should be stood up for but we have something that they will never have the ability to speak.
We can stand up and fight but they sit in fear and misery and we are all they have.
No susquared I beleive it is YOU who needs to get their priorities straight!!!
Do not degrade those who are helping, who ever it may be.

I just wanted to say thank you to the people who did sing this , and to those of you who didn't becauces they felt I didn't have my priorities straite well I do. This topic doesnt even involve abuse to other people, and just because I'm talking about animal abuse here dosen't mean that I don't care about people getting abused!!!! (because I do)

I BELIEVE THAT ANIMALS SHOULD HAVE ALMOST THE SAME RIGHTS AS HUMANS. YOU WOULDN'T LIKE FOR SOMEONE TO ABUSE AND NISTREAT YOU, WOULD YOU?

I just visited peta2.com, and read about vegan diets and stuff.... I've considered becoming vegetarian, but I don't know where the line divides veggie and vegan. Can vegetarians eat fish? (I'm not a fan of seafood at all, but just need clarification.) Also, vegans don't eat or drink cheese, milk, and other dairy, in addition to no meat or fish? I don't understand why no milk is allowed, since it (as far as I know) involves no harm to the animal...same with cheese. Well I am by far PRO animal rights. Hey visit PETA's website. There are lots of ways to help animials there. HEY, AND IF YOU EAT MEAT (I clearly do not) REMEMBER THIS QUOTE: "POOR ANIMALS! Oh, and a side note, when you vist PETA's website, e-mail them asking for a "meet your meat" CD...I cried for 15 minutes after I saw that...and I don't cry, cept for sappy movies and animal abuse horror stories. OH, YEAH, FYI that CD is only about slaughterhouses and animal testing. Yes, it's sick, but it's TRUE and it needs to be out there. Shouldn't see all know what we're eating? COMMON PEOPLE! REALLY! HOW IGNORANT SHOULD WE LET OURSELVES BE?!?!?! IT'S JUST DUMB TO STAY IN THE DARK!!!

I love animals, and would hate to see them being hurt, but I love humans way more.

I would like to explain something to everyone who has said that the suffering of animals is not important because there are people who are suffering too. I do believe we should all do what we can to help both people and animals. Just because I care about animals doesn't mean that I don't care about people too. I don't think it is fair for anyone to be abused whether he/she is a human or an animal. Anyone who thinks it is acceptable to hurt another living being needs help.

Don't you care about the animals? God knows I do. But I won't sign the petition, **sighs** I'm such a hypocrite. But animals should be given a good home and if it's their time I'm sorry but they have to go, no matter how much it hurts.

Am I missing something? Where does she say she doesn't care about people being abused? Just because she doesn't say she cares, doesn't mean she doesn't. THIS thread is about the abuse of animals....

I agree w/goth about the animals although she should care about people being abused but as far as the animals I agree and I wish people would be more conserned with people who abuse animals.

Svanilla, what is your problem? First of all, no where in her post does it even mention human torture, so you are making baseless accusations.

Second, do you think that because dogs and cats aren't human, that it's perfectly fine for them to be abused!? That's how you are sounding. And if that IS the case, you are absolutely dispicable.
