Graves and Shrines Is not concealed from anyone, the fierce campaign that has been launched, by those alleged to be Muslims and fear for it. But they are the enemies of the households (P), fighting their Shiites and those who loved them. What they are looking for, is not more than the division and the conflict among Muslims. This attack has become so obvious and visible to the eye sights, emerging on the pages of the newspapers and broadcasted live. Through radio terrestrials, and space stations.
The infidel and deviation, they are insulting the Shiites and the Shiism by, is practiced and done by all Muslims with their different doctrines. That attack despite its weakness and the unaccountability of what it is based on, has affected the Shiite community and its assembly. So the Shiite members are looking for an answer to these allegations, to protect and give them the necessary vaccine, and immunity against the deadly diseases.
The most they have directed their arrows and arcs to, is visiting the graves and the shrines of the household peace be upon them. To make that as general floating title does not refer to a particular and specific category, the broad and clear heading was visiting the graves. Arguing that the visits eventually lead to worship and seek its help in spite of his almighty Allah, forgetting the short speeches of the messenger of Allah (P) and his remarks.
And there were no better than the Husseini platforms and the Husseini turbans, which are jingling these days in the occasion of the ten days of Hussein's Ashura (peace be upon him). We resort to it to answer those questions, and to respond to that attack. That was depending on the generosity of the Quran, and speeches and narrations of the messenger of Allah and his family (p). They are a dependent source and a clear spring.
His eminence the sheikh had mounted the podium to shed light on some of the practices, which have thrown doubt and wonder in the hearts of the believers. Some of what he had said: The suspicion and doubt are not realistic and not true, but it came to the surface because of us being away from the culture of the households (P) and their ideas. He had begun his speech about visiting the graves and the shrines of the household (p). Making the attendance directed their sights, and focusing their thoughts at him. As if they were patients looking for a curing medicine. And as if he was an experienced doctor, putting his hand on the place of sickness, and began describing the medicine.
He has begun explaining the topic in question, saying: to answer those questions and respond to those attacks, we will state some of the honorable verses and proper narrations. From those many spoken and narrated of that the Prophet (P), and his honorable family (P) and their assurances. They are sufficient to rebut these ignorant ideas and stop them at their border, and answer our questions and relieve our hearts.
Some of what his eminence had said, a Quranic verse has descend about the people of the cave – in the name of Allah the Merciful, the Compassionate " Those who have over come them have said we will erect a mosque over them" so the mosque and prostrate can not be made other than to Allah. And from the short talks of the messenger of Allah (P) his saying, "I had forbidden you from visiting the graves, so start visiting them, because they soften the hearts and reminding of the Hereafter." And his saying (P), "Who ever goes for Hajj or Ommrah and dose not visit me he has alienated me", and his saying (P), "Who ever visits me but does visit my uncle Hamzah, he has alienated me." The words of Imam Ali (P) on the tomb of the prophet of Allah (P) on his grave at the time of his burial, "Patience is beautiful but not on you, alarming is ugly but not on you, our injury is huge by you, and it is before and after you a minimal".
In these verse and Hadiths a clear indication, not only on the legitimate of visiting the graves and the shrines of the households (p), but a proof from the messenger's (P) encouragement to that visit and holding to it. The Sheikh had added: It is only a fraction of what have been documented about him (P), in the books of the two parties. He had left his gathering overwhelmed with optimism, that the audience has been affected by the topic of his lecture. And the attendance have Left the Husseinieh, printed on their faces marks of pride with their sect of religion. They went to their families, more powerful and more firmly believing in the credibility of their religion and their sect.
