ALL OF THIS IS TOO DEEP FOR ME! It requires to much thinking on my part. -_- So like.. Here's a thing I'm passionate about.

What's your favorite? Do you go for manga or the shows. Do you like Chobits and Yu-yu Hakusho. Do you think Kurama's a pansy? Have I lost my mind? Do you even know what an otaku is..? Or is it all.. Just.. In your mind..? o.O

Heh, no need for apologies. I've never enjoyed a cartoon in my life, so I was a bit shocked when my friend got me addicted to anime. I like it in spite of myself...I consider it one of my ridiculous indulgences. I actually prefer manga, which I like to believe is a little less...overdone. Sadly, anime is populated with melodramatic, whiny and obsessive characters, absolutely none of which have a normal past. And yet, I watch it anyway. It's often badly animated, and more than occasionally the art is just plain bad...I'm still puzzled by the fact that I like it anyway. My normal tastes lie more toward Rembrant and expressionist films...also, Donnie Darko. Nothing is cooler than Donnie Darko. (Oh, look. Jen has gone down yet another tangent. Surprise, surprise.)

I apologize if it sounds like a blow to your character(s), but I abhor anime because I don't see a point. I've seen of the shows that you all refer to (so I've moved on from my previous anime judgment encapsulating shows like Pokémon, or Digimon, or Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball Z, Gundum Wing, etc.). But these shows are not conducive to my taste. Most of the shows have "art" that's tasteless. All anime looks the same to me.

Maybe this is why my day consists of CNN and FoxNews; I hate cartoons.

Also, it seems like anime-fans are obsessive about it. "OMG did you see Yunh-Chow-Men?! He's so hot!" Or whatever. I usually like to watch shows where I can promounce the names, as well.

I don't know...they just...are. I really can't explain it. Well, for one thing they're often pretty, and I like pretty guys, but that's not really it. Now this is going to annoy me. Why do I like gay men? Maybe it's that the relationships are more interesting than heterosexual ones, since I know what those are like, and my opinion at this moment is that they suck. I'm not into girls, so the yuri doesn't do much for me, but it's interesting to read/watch. The yaoi has hot guys and you can see them acting and reacting in different ways than het couples. I'm not making much sense. Maybe it's the tension between them, and all the angst it seems to lead to (I like my anime Angsty!) It's just a thing, I guess. *shrugs* Love, Jen.

O...M...G...this is like the one most single subject I might actually say I'm obsessed about. Everyone should read Chobits because it is like the best. I love all of Chi's outfits and I so want all of them! She is so adorable!!! Oh and Yu Yu Hakusho...*cough* Kurama...damn...he is sooooo incredibly hot!!! If he was really real I think I would fall in love with him...*sigh* I dream too much. Inuyasha kicks *** although he can be annoying sometimes. Yet Inu isn't the star of course all girls who watch the show should know that Sesshomaru is the most sexiest ever! God I think I love him. He is like...whoa! Yeah well what else is there oh ya Trigun is so hilarious! Rurouni Kenshin is a very interesting show to watch. I love lots of anime. Anime is like my most fave subject. Basically I love anime and I adore it. Anime rocks I don't care what anyone else says because its there prob.

About Sailor Moon: Never read the manga...I might borrow it from someone some time, but I doubt I'll ever buy it.

Fake: Ah, the yaoiness. Hot gay men is right. I just bought the Descendants of Darkness (Yami no Matsuei) box set...happy Jen with her gay boys. Yum yum. I am a sad specimen of humanity.

Let's see... I love Chobits (I want Chi's wardrobe!), I love Fake (Hot gay men! Yum!), I love Yu Yu Hakusho (Kurama is hot! So is Hiei!), I love X/1999 (Kamui is so sexy!), and I love Inu Yasha (He and Sesshomaru are the hottest brothers in the history of anime!). Yes, I am obsessed.

Hellsing is the creepiest thing I have ever watched... .Hack//SIGN is good, Inuyasha is good too. Lol, um... I used to like Salior Moon... sadly. Kenchi Musho (sp?) too... but I liked that show even though it didn't last to long on Cartoon Network.

Mobody said Inuyasha? He's the best..and Sesshoumaru is hot.So is Kurama from Yuyu Hakusho..and Hiei..and Yusuke..and Jin too.Koga from InuYasha is too..and Naraku too..and Kamui from X. But yeah..I'm the typical drooling fangirl..sitting at home.Cowboy Bebop's cool too..and Bubblegum Crisis 2040..yeah,I'm done.

As for Sailor Moon: I first saw the cut version on Toonami in America... with really bad dubbing and all, but I was caught up with the idea of anime after that and since then I've watched many other anime, including the uncut version of Sailor Moon. I have to say... the Sailor Moon manga is much better, so if you even had the slightest like of the show, you should try the comic... it's a lot better.

Sailor Moon, uncut, was at least slightly better than the cut version. Which one did you see? I hate them both, personally, but that's just me...

No... u.u; I've thought about it though.. One of my friends cosplayed Yuna from FF. My god, she looked just freakin like her. Another thing.. Riyoyoki? From Tenchi Muoyo.. I saw someone dress up like her. She was all fuzzy and crap. I ran across this random site.. 'Man-Faye' It scared the mess outta me. o_o Man-Faye, The Greatest Cosplayer of All Time Beware. Anywho, another anime thats worth a look.. Trigun. Seriously, Legato shouldn't have died! The worst anime I can think of today is... REIGN The Conqueror. Dude, The men are wearing thongs and speedos and crap! >.<; Serious scareness!
