Personally, I think black and white photos are the most artistic.

i think colored picture that seem shadowy are more artistic than black and white ones..but anyway..

Joey, those are really good. i really like the Sunset in Avalon one. and the best picture you ever took is pretty neat too. but the double exposed film is by far the best. anyways, those are just my opinions. i think that you should definitely try painting. i heard somewhere that it releives stress. have a good day, er, night, or whatever.

Youngqueen, thank you. Um, investigative journalism is my profession, but photography is also a job I do; more of a hobby, but I do have many photos published each week.

jen, I bought another role of B&W today; I'm planning on keeping the film in the camera for a nice period of time ...I want to be patient and get really good -- GOOOD - photos this time.

You'll be the first to critique it; and hey, by the way, after talking with you on here ...seriously, I say this seriously, I'm wanting to get into more artistic stuff such as painting. I dunno how good i'd be ...I'd just wanna splash paint in strategic places and hope someone gives me $400,000 for it lol.

Kidding.

But um, I think it's the influence of Ayn Rand ...just wanted to let ya know for some reason ha.

Word of advice...don't look at them too much, or you really will hate them. I once tore up a painting I worked on for four months (four months!) because I kept looking at it and finding things wrong, things I wanted to change...it drove me crazy, and I just took out my canvas knife and sliced it to shreds. And then cried. Anyway...just ignore them for awhile. Love, Jen.

Joey, you have a great talent. I really love the Red Oak Creek Road, I like how the road starts to form in S curve, the road leads you in to the picture. As for the cemetery, it's nice how the rail is in the picture. It gives it a very dramatic feeling. In my opinion, simplicity is boring. It's good that he mixes it up and so everthing isn't the same. Is photography your profession?

Joey loves the attention, but what can you do?

I personally think that Joey should focus more on an individual aspect of the picture, such as one tombstone, so more detail is given for one image.

My sister takes amazing pictures, and she usually focuses on -one- object. It makes her photos more dramatic, I think.

don't worry joey, not everyone hates you; i think it's kinda stupid to decide to hate someone when you don't even really know them personally.
