I have always wanted to start my own charity, I dont know what i should help out with. What do you think?

Have you every thought about starting off being part off an exciting charity? That way you get the feel of how things go and then slowly you could break away and start your own... Just a thought.

I'd do Child abouse, but do whatever fit your heart...spend some time alone and just relax. It will come to you what you want to do.

I think you should start with something simple and easy to organize.

For example:

Make posters that you are going to make a bake sale to help raise money for ________ on _______ 2003. If your mom or dad or whoever knows how to bake, you could ask them to help you bake and you could ask others to help you with making posters and putting them up all around the area. I think you should do the bake sale for at least one weekend and see how much money you raise. Then do something else that is small like selling lemonade for another weekend or so. Just do this for at least a whole year so you could get the hand of raising money and how to handle things nicely and more people will find out that you are doing different things to raise money.

It might help if you do this for a whole year and do diffferent little things because you will become popular and the more people you have, the more you could help and everyone could too. People might get bored of the same thing so that's why I said do different little things. However, if people really liked one of your sales or something you created then do it again.

Then when your ready, you should do something bigger like take care of animals or if you like kids, take care of kids. For animals: You could have a watch drive so you could give them baths and fix them all nicely up. Or people who are too busy to walk their dogs, you could always walk dogs for them. Or you could always just take care of animals like baby-sitting. For Kids: basically baby-sitting. You should do this for a whole summer or something. Do this for just a summer or so because you already know what you are doing.

Then do something really big. Like getting old clothes and toys and food and stuff like that for other people. Then you could set up little gatherings so kids could be friends with other kids who don't have much. You could set up pen pals if the kids are too shy or scared to meet someone in need of their help. You could also set up pen pals for teenagers too and adults. Set up days for like teems for that month. Get people more invovled and let everyone feel like they really helped. I mean giving money is always good but the felling of feeling like you changed someone live is just not really there for some people so let them really help out.

I don't know. That's what I think. You should start something small and go from there. Um, it's all up to you though.
