A personality is a bunch of traits that change in time/next life. A soul is the pure individual that never changes.

The only answer you are looking for is always to do good in everything.. Whether there is hatred among your peers and your family, always do good and give love.
I think that when a person is searching for somethng and he or she cant find that thing, then that means that we are somehow searching forthe good things that God has taught us. Beng good can really fulfill anything you are searching for.

your soul is everything you ARE. Your soul is really is your essense, like karen said.

your personality is more like okay example of me here. if some one told me to tell them about my personality i would go, "Well i'm crazy, nice (mostly), arrogant lol, ect."

the soul is alot harder to explain. to describe my soul would take some poetry. see it's like your heart, mind, spirit, the love inside you, your imperfections, that's all part of your soul
