Alright, here's the main question that i have, why are people so malificent? Why do people call themselves your friend- and then as soon as your back is turned, they stab you in the back? We all make mistakes, but why do we lie and have this constant urge to be so selfish?! Please help!

It's a neighborhood war, you better lock that door, Flesh and blood and cold concrete.

To you, you are the only thing that matters. Yes, you can care about other people, but mostly you care about how they make you feel or how their problems will affect you. It's difficult (for me at least) to really acknowledge the fact that everyone has a life of their own, and that my complicated, branched out life is duplicated in some form in everyone else's in the world. You think your world is big, how about the whole human population's world? It's huge, and all you are able to care about is your own because that's all you see day in and day out. So of course people are going to act selfishly - they only really understand and care about themselves.

That's why I sometimes act selfishly towards my friends. I love them, but deep down I think I forget that their feelings are as real as mine. I'm trying to work on that. Big Grin
