You know how in the twilight series the quiluetes imprint on people? Well I'm a homeschooled girl and I like a guy so much. It's almost like the werewolf thing. He's a year younger than me almost exactly (I'm 13) and we're friends i think.
I'd be happy if we could just be close friends for now and then later we could be more than that and even if we were just really good friends I could be happy but I'm so miserable and I was wondering when guys started to like girls in that way. Like when do guys get crushes on girls. My dad claims that it's not till they're 14 but I somehow doubt that. Could someone please please help me?

Try not to worry about it so much.. Really. Keep being his friend, of course, but don't set your heart on a dating relationship (Not just because he won't like you- for he could, one day, you know- but because you'll miss out on that nice friendship. Really).

I've liked the same guy for three years. He's really nice. I like him for his personality. We're already friends. I'm not in a hurry to get a guy. I just really like this guy.
