Ya'll have no idea what hell is about! But before I continue, please read my message even if you aren't Christian.... The scriptures say that hell is full of never ending pain and (unless you believe that Jesus died for your sins, was buried, and rose again the 3rd day)you WILL suffer through it [after death or the rapture and Tribulation (aka revalations)]. Now, I know this sound like a bunch of junk to some of you, but please continue reading. The scriptures also say that those who go to hell will NOT be able to leave nor die (NO being prayed out of it!) and will suffer eternally. If you don't believe me check out the Bible (King James or New International Version)! I believe it and know it to be the truth!!! null

Hell is a valley, I'm sure of that. Whether it's already on earth or is waiting to be opened is unclear to me.

Hell, as it says in the Bible, is right here on earth. People make up stories about Hell being below us and Heaven being in the clouds. I honestly don't know exactly where Heaven is but Hell is in the spirit form all around us. God threw Satan down here because he was trying to take over Heaven.

quote: until the end of eternity
I'm pretty sure that's just another way of saying forever.

Dante had the right idea, minus the eternal suffering.
Also, when I see "Repent, Repent, Repent!" I think of Cake's song.. "Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps...".
Eh.

In The Divine Comedy, hell is actually not so much.. just a place with.. a whole lot of fire. Each level varied in nature. As I recall, the 9th level, Satan's very own home.. is bitterly cold and bleak.

You guys, stop blabbering on about hell. I don't believe in it. Also, if you're a 'spirit' with no body, how can you feel anything? I mean... you'd go right threw it. I believe in reincarnation. And I like fire, so that is another point for 'hell'. -Sunset

Does time stop? I've asked a few people this, and they've said no. So, if time never stops, where does the phrase "until the end of eternity" come from?

Maybe you understand the concept of eternity but some people don't. When you die and if you didn't repent then you will spend FOREVER in Hell. Think about it. I can't even say "for a long time" because its LONGER than that.

I dont really understand how pain can exist if we have no bodies to feel it with.... but whatever.

That's why I dislike heaven. quote: Hell isn't so bad. I mean, they have grilled cheese..

Wow. It sounds like Fear Factor, but a better version. quote: Hell is living with my grandparents...

Why does a wide spread fear of the "armageddon" always seem to happen after or during NATURAL disasters? And why does Pat Robertson always write books about it and make millions of dollars?
Now that I think about it, why in the hell would someone want to go out and buy a book when they know they're gonna die?

In hell, they burn you in a lake of fire. I'd rather not be burned eternally because I couldn't pray for five minutes.

Uptwon, good call. That's a very good reference, and very valid for all of us.
