Here's my rant on Christians taking the offensive, rather than always being in defensive mode. This should stir the pot... I'm a devout Christian, one who isn't afraid of standing up for Christian and Biblical principles; I'm not afraid of judging, because according to the dictionary, judging is nothing more than stating or saying a strong opinion. Too many, as my friend Pastor Mike Treis has said, are afraid to pick up the stones and go on the offensive; he was, of course, alluding to the battle between David and Goliath (picture me as David). Many - nay, most - Christians are just too laid back, too unaware of what really is going on. There are a good number who will fight to the death and not be afraid to stand up. But Christians seem to have forgotten their role in history; it's too much in the "lukewarm" phase, time period-speaking. I'm not like that. I'm a radical. I'm on the offensive, with an emphasis on offensive. Much of what I have to say is borderline offensive and insulting, but it's done for a specific purpose: getting the message out that HELLO, we're in the middle of not only physical warfare, but spiritual and informational warfare. Doesn't matter if it's a forum, chat room, or a class discussion. I'm not afraid of holding anything back, nor am I afraid of slinging the stones. Of course, as with any statement I make, if I am wrong, I will gladly make an attempt to correct it and/or admit it. Ezekiel 33: 2-6 says it best; look it up sometime. I'm one of many watchmen - or in today's politically correct world, a "watchperson." Wake up, America, wake up, world. Repent now and seek God while he can still be found. Turn from your evil ways! Your eternal life depends on it. http://www.joeydauben.com

I thought you went to a Private School? If so, your parents/guardians are paying for you to learn basic history.
Maybe you just don't remember.

Nope. We're not supposed to talk or mention anything that has to do with religion at my school. Not even if it has to do with History. -Sunset

Doesn't matter what your church says, Sunset. Did you ever learn about the Protestant Reformation in History?

Wow. You just turned me off to religeon even more. You Christians always seem to be wanting others to "Seek god before it's too late". It's never too late. Why don't you busybody's worry more about your own soul than the rest of us? Believe me, it's not nice-just annoying. Thank you very much.

The Catholic church I attend says Catholicism isn't a branch of Christianity. The Christian church that I also attend says the same thing. Well, if they're branched, excuse me. -Sunset

I'm not sure what you meant by separating Christians and Catholics, Sunset, by Catholicism is a branch of Christianity.

Joey, I respect you being a Christian. But, you're acting like Christians are the superior... race if you will. Yeah, I know that the whole world and it's making is based on Christianity, but also Catholic, correct? We all are eqaul and I will not freely say that someone who has a different religion and/or belief are going to hell. That is wrong and no one has the right to do that, but God. Repenting will not help ****. You already done the act, regreting will not take it away or help the situation. If someone is not meant to go to hevean, I don't think regreting the 'sin' will change Gods mind. I know what I said contradicts the Bible, but that's what I believe. Also, what's so bad about Christians not arguing about every little thing? Not everyone is going to be a hard core Christian. But, that doesn't mean they're a bad Christian. When you mean evil, do you mean every other relgion that isn't Christian, or any religion that doesn't believe in a God or has different/more Gods? Just curious. -Sunset

You can't really convince someone like Dauben that he's, oh.. what's the word.. wrong? A large part of your "war" is being stirred by religious... individuals.. like yourself.
You say that evangelists won't ever leave us alone.. the blasphemers, the non-believers, etc. You and your Christian friends are right. We're the ones who are wrong, right? You rule out the possibility that your beliefs may be flawed.
What a disgusting view of things.

Much of what I have to say is borderline pointless and insulting, but it's done for a specific purpose: getting the message out that HELLO, your spiritual and informational war can go **** itself. Most of the people who you view as your enemies in this "culture war" just want to be left the **** alone. I enjoy my "evil ways"; leave me be. Wake up, Dauben, wake up, Christian fundamentalists.
