my car that isn't my daily driver was really giving me trouble. It had a bad misfire on two cylinders. And I checked everything that could of been wrong with it the coil pack, spark plugs, plug wires, injectors, injector wiring etc. The car itself is a 87 Buick Regal with the Turbo 3.8 V6. I bought the car for $1,500 off my step sister as she got it after her husband had a divorce and she got the car. Also i have a 92 grand am for driving to trade school every day in my grandmothers will. Anyways the misfire was really getting on my nerves because I could not drive the car because the unburned fuel going to the calalytic converter damages it. An I had put too much money into the car to have the piston rings worn down by the unburned fuel in the cylinders. I bought Preformace exhaust and race mufflers without sound deadening materal in them, Accel XFI, engine management computer ball bearing turbo, 49lb/hr fuel injectors, preformance intake throttle body intercooler and manifold, rebuilt the engine with strengthed components, Preformance transmission internals and torque converter, shift kit and sifter that allows you to manually shift the gears. (its an automatic) Anyways i put alot of money in it from when it was fifteen until now so nautrally i take good care of it. Anyways the problem was there was a few bent pins in the termanal that connects to the PCM. Fixed it just tonight and now it runs fine. But when it happened I was really let down because that was going to be the first time i took it out. well with that off my chest did anyone have a problem like this?
