hey guys you know what i dont understand why people make such a big deal about young moms. im a young mom of 2 i have a 2 year old and a 4 month old. im 16 and im tired of hearing peoples crap. they complain that im 16 with two kids and that my man is black and im white. there is nothing wrong with that is there? i just turned 15 on july 31 and i have one y/o twin boys and sometimes i get mad when people ask me if theyre my brothers. do any of you feel the same way? i mean why should people judge us when everyone makes mistakes. when i first found out i was pregnant i flipped because i didnt want anyone thinking i was a whore but now i could honestly care less what others think of me. and guess what? i just found out that im three months pregnant again!! the doctor says theres a high chance that itll be twins.

When you have 2 kids at 18, sometimes people think you're a ****. It all depends on the circumstances. I'm not saying i do--just some people.

well...it might be the city you live in or the age you look. i know that i live in georgetown,tx and there are quite a few teen moms and it isnt a taboo thing. we even have special parenting classes for the teen parents which are always packed and a free daycare for the moms still in school.i cant say that looks arent made and it sucks that they are but i can kind of understand it because we must admit that 16 is young to already have a child and a lot of people already have poor judgements about teen parenting. unfortunitly, there isnt anything we can do other than hold our heads up high and teach our children not to judge others...in the end maybe other people's judgements will empower us to try that much harder to not fall victim to the status quo and achieve great things, with our children at our sides. i have always had a problem with hypocritical people when it comes to interracial dating...especially since it is the 21st century but it only shows how ignorant they are. In my opinion if you can find a man, any man, who will treat you and your children right and stand by you then props to you and the relationship should be commended. i am 17 with two children by the same hispanic father and small minded people will always be around to judge. i am sure i will think it gets worse when my second child is born considering that i dont have to face the stares every day since my first child past away and my second child is on the way in just one month. unfortunitly, the father decided to take off after 2 kids,2 1/2 year relationship,living together, and being engaged so maybe some peoples stares are that of concern for our futures.that, i can respect...but who knows. i wish you the best of luck

If you can raise 2 kids at 16, you should get respect. I can barely stand babysitting at 17...
