I was just wondering who has scoliosis. I have to wear a back brace because of its severity and I only have one friend who has to wear it even though she only has to wear it 12 hours and I have to wear it 23 hours. It is a pain, does anyone share this in common with me? I'm sure many people have scoliosis since it is about 2 in 20 people.

If any one has any questions about scoliosis you can ask me i went through it all.... when i had my first x-ray of my spine it was already at a 45 degree so we had to get a brace right away.....even though i am 15 i had the spinal fusion done from my neck all the way down b/c i had a 73 degree curve...the surgery was 16 hours and my fott was paralyxed after b/c my doctor hit my spinal cord...now my fott is fine but a little pain when the wheter changes..I wore 3 back braces for 2 years 23 hours a day but they did not help and my curve went crazy. I have many things i can not do b/c of this but i am living so i feel good

i have scoliosis to i had a 16 hour surgery b/c of it..i wore 3 back braces 23 hours a day...my curve was 73 degrees..it was very painful

I have it, too. It's a pain, I know. It's at like 17% or something. The doctor says if it gets too bad they'll have to put a metal rod in my back, so I can't bend.

I'm nearly fully deaf and I have vitiligo but that's not too bad.

I have scoliosis, but not a severe case. I just have a hunched back and my parents always telling me to stand up straight.

My friend Judas has scoliosis, but he just takes pain killers for it, I think.

I have it. I used to have to wear my brace for 23 hours a day but now it's only 12 hours, even though I usually don't wear it for 12 hours and my back is getting bad again.
