I read the Wigs for Kids issue and I'm going to cut off a foot of my hair!!! I don't have a lot of hair, so I'm asking kids in my youth group to give there hair too!! If they can!!! Has anyone given some of there hair??? Please let me know!!:)

Why are you donating hair? I got a big afro but I want to know why you're donating hair. I didn't look through all the posts. I just skimmed through.

hmm... i had my hair straight and now joey and jonathan won't look at me anymore...

I can not cut my hair for religious reasons, but if i did have to i would give it so someone who needed it.

I don't have the courage to cut off a lot of my hair. It's always been long.

I think mabye cuz it damages the hair or somthing? not quite sure.

Why can't you donate it if it's been permed?

I cant donate my hair even though i really want to. My parents wont let me and my hair has been permed before. I wish i could!

no i cant because my hair is too short and dyed but im growing it out and donating money for wigs for kids!

I've got really, really, really thick hair, and I am going to let it grow out and when I get out of High School, I am going to cut it for locks of love. Does anyone know where I can get info?

i was planning on growing my hair out & cutting it my senior year...but when i get it cut, ill donate it

I wish I could help by giving some of my hair but I have shouler length curly hair . I heard about two little girls on the Today show saying that they were going to cut their hair for those children and teenagers without hair. I am very happy that some of the kids, teenagers, and adults are cutting their hair for others that are in need of it.

I think it is great that other people donated their hair. When I did it every one at my school thought I was really stupid because my hiar barely covered my ears. Before then I could sit on my hair. I think that it is a noble thing to do.

I've been wanting to do it but my hair is really damaged because of the number of times that I've dyed it. My hair only grows like 2 inches a year and I only have like 4 inches of healthy hair so it will be awhile before I can do it. But I can't wait.

I am glad to know other people do this! My mom sister and I did this last year and we are growing it out again to chop off. I think this is a great cause and every who can do it should!

I donated 13 inches of red hair to locks of love...having short hair (just at my shoulders) was awkward for a while ^^;
