On Monday the 15th of February George W. Bush conducted a radio broadcast stating his plan to redirect funding for all adult high school programs into the public schools for standardized testing. You can see the problem here. No more GED and other programs such as the HSED (High School Equivalence Degree) and adult high school completion coerces. We all know how the job market works and with out any of the above a lot of people are going to be in trouble. The problem is that very few people know about this and there isn't much time. Our state reps. are going to be in there offices from the 21st of Feb. to the 25th of Feb deciding how they are gong to vote. This is just the first round, but we need to be on the ball. If you combined this with the "No Child Left Behind Program" which is where grades 1-8 are now able to hold students back, and changes the basic high school into an extended form of grade school. No more precollege programs. So not only do you have unappreciated students. Now you have overworked and stressed out student's that drop out. You see the problem here. This needs to be known and stopped. I am but one person and i only have 2 hands. If you could help spread the word Bush would be in for the fight of his life. He tried to pull a fast one, but people caught on, now its just a matter of spreading the word fast enough. This is just the beginning. We have to keep on our toes if we want things to change. Send a letter to your state representatives Well i thank you for our time, and all i can do is hope you get to this in time.
