Okay, usually people start boards on either political discussions, intellectual discussions, or to talk about how horrible their life is and to get advice on it.

So I'm going to start a "happy" thread and tell how happy I am and why. Feel free to post here whenever something awesome happens or you're just happy and you want to share. Whenever you feel sad, just come here and read about happy stuff. I hope everyone thinks this is a cool idea.

I'll start: I'm happy because I finally found someone I love that I feel like I could spend the rest of my life with. Every moment with him makes me happier and I couldn't have personally manufactured anyone better for me.

And I'm happy because Christmas is only five days away! Yay!

Now, go forth and share happy thoughts.

Yeah, yeah, yeah...I know. Well, I knew he was going to ask me when he came home for Christmas but just not specifically any details. It ended up being a spur of the moment thing because he just couldn't wait any longer - come to find out, even though he'd already been home for a week, he had been carrying the ring in his pocket the whole time trying to decide something or plan something.

The date I have set is September 26, 2009. The date my parents and his parents have set is sometime after I graduate college (2011). But, never fear, I always get my way. I mean, the '09 date will be when we have been together for 5 years exactly. At that point, what is the point in waiting another 2 years???

And I visited my fiance (hey.....we got engaged on Christmas Eve, just so yall know) in Japan for 2 weeks.

I will still be able to afford to go to college next semester!

And my brother is going to come home from Iraq for a couple of days to meet his baby daughter that he has never met in person yet!

My boyfriend is home and we have been having a great time!

Trust me, after not seeing him for 6 months, 5 days, and counting...less than a month until is homecoming is CAKE!

YV is healthy and didn't get hit by a truck or struck my a meteor My happyness just went up like 6 notches!

My brother who is in Iraq is okay, that makes me happy.
