To rebel: someone sent me an e-mail with all that stuff in it one time. I thought it was nifty.

Happy thought for today? Well, it's Christmas! That automatically makes me happy because I get to spend time with my family and open presents! Also, my boyfriend (yeah, I talk about him a lot...apologies in advance) called me at 7:30am this morning. We both get up early like little kids on Christmas. It was nice to finally have someone to talk to that early.

I'm happy because I recently got in touch with friends I had not spoken to in about 2 years, and whom I never thought I'd get to talk to ever again.

And because it's x-mas, and I got the digital camera I asked for.

wow, those are some HAPPY things.

Mine of the day:
I work up because my little brother was jumping around. It made me happy to see him all excited. I haven't seen him this happy in a long time. Then i got to see him open his presents and he got what he wanted. He was happy and excited all day. I prolly won't see him that much till wednesday now. So it was good to see him and all little kidish too.
Looking forward to spending the day with my boyfriends tommorrow.

Yay! Someone else is happy!

Well, my boyfriend and I did Christmas yesterday. He made me a bear at the Build-a-Bear Workshop and dressed him in N.C. State clothes (he's a Carolina fan---for people who don't know, those teams are rivals). I also got a charm bracelet (he'd put two charms on it---a heart and a music note/treble clef thing), and a basketball T-shirt for our HS. He's on the varsity team. I'm so happy. It's going to take some serious gifts to top that one tomorrow!

...I guess most of my happy thoughts are about him...

Well, here's another one: I go to my grandpa's on Christmas Eve and, even though I like spending time with all of them, I don't usually get that much for Christmas (and usually what I get isn't that good). But this year I some stuff I actually wanted---and tires for my car! So even that turned out better than I thought. Tomorrow I get gifts from my parents, my nana, and my favorite aunt. And I get to see them open all the special gifts I got them. Christmas is definitely my favorite holiday!

Mine is that I got to hang out with my boyfriend today.He just cheered me up and everything. PLus I am talking to a few of my friends that i haven't seen in a long time online. Keep the good news coming! There is very little that could make me stop smiling right now. I hope tommorrow is this good.

§In My Happy Place§

Yeah, that's actually another reason why I started this. I wanted to see if anyone would bother responding to a happy thread.

I like talking about horrible things as much as the next person and arguing incessantly about whether or not abortion is right.

But I wanted to take some time away from that on these boards to express happiness. I guess no one else feels the same!

However, another happy thought: My bf is called me for the first time last night in 3 days. He's been in Washington D.C. since then and didn't want to call on his cell phone long-distance. But he called last night anyways because he couldn't wait any longer and wanted to confirm plans for today. We're doing Christmas between us today and then going to look at lights. This is the first time that I haven't seen him for four days straight and haven't heard from him but once. He usually calls me everday. So I missed him terribly. Now I'm extremely happy that I get to see him today.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder...

Lol, I don't have a happy thought to share. I just wanted to point out how funny I thought it was at in 3 days nobody has responded.

Everybody looooves to think their lives are so dismal. Nice job trying to liven up a 'poor pitiful me' board. Very cool concept.
