in my short time on the boards i have noticed one big thing...STEREOTYPES. any time anyone acts a certain way they get stereotyped. take me for example, i started a thread about people bashing potheads and i got alot of stereotypical remarks lile..all you'll ever do if flip burgers or Hey let me go some that plant and become really dumb. that was totally wrong, yes i do have a job at a restraunt but not at Burger King. I work at a place called Panera Bread as a busboy and dishwasher and i work hard for my money.but everytime i get on a "stoner" topic i get slammed. i know i've bashed people and been stereotypical myself but thats who i am. like the preps stereotype i believe in that whole heartedly. i think most(if not all) preps are snobs. i know i will be deemed hypocrtical(s/p?) but what the hell im tired of being judged without a chance to defend.
ok i try hard not to stereotype but for some "groups" there is a category like; guys=a**holes(at least some of the ones i know)stoners=really don't care anymore(no offense but all my friends are stoners (i'm not) and they truly don't care anymore) etc. it goes on. and some cheerleaders do look at us "lowly" people and give me a look like why the hell are u living? Ah, Will and Grace...I like that show for some unfound reason (I'm someone who normally watches Dr. Who or science documentaries) and it pisses me off. I've always thought of it as mindless, but it hypnotizes me for some reason.
I don't judge people by thier cover most of the time but when I see a girl in a tiny hot pink mini skirt with lime green polka dots on it, a tiny t shirt saying "princess" or "I can't help being being beutifull" on it, flip flops, and a tiny purse barely big enough to hold a stick of gum, when it's 30 degrees out. that SCREAMS preppy b*tch. a few of my friends are potheads, and they aren't the smartest ones in the bunch but nevertheless inteligent people. I hate rednecks cuz they hate me and they're basically bush's groupies. I don't care about southerners they don't bother me that much. Blondes are still people. some are stupid sl*ts and most of them are just normal human beings with a different hair color. people steriotype me a goth or a punk all the time. I'm not a goth. I am however the typical Oi punk so it's just stating a fact not insulting me.

Heehee Will & Grace is one of my secret indulgences. I love that show. Don't forget Karen's dearest friend although he is only there sometimes and I can't remember his name but he is really funny. The short rich one. And Rosie (I think that is her name). Oh well it's fun stuff. Oh stereotypes yes they suck. Although in my case they are true. Typical flaming homosexual right. ::shrug shrug::

Here to amend my quote. Will has a boyfriend now who isn't stereotypically fruity. Isn't it odd he just got a boyfriend? He hasn't had one the entire series, has he? I've only seen one episode with him in it, but any sort of "romantic" connection between the two of them seemed forced and kind of lame. Thankfully the boyfriend is a hot Italian cop and Karen is still a character.

One of the many things in this world that I hate is stereotypes. I mainly hate the "prep, goth, greebo, hippie" sort of stereotypes, but the others annoy me aswell. The people I know don't seem to understand that if you listen to rock music, you can wear tight bright clothes and make up that isn't black every so often and if you listen to Britney Spears or Mariah Carey you can be depressed.
Stereoypes are my pet peeves. I don't see why people can't realize that EVERYBODY is DIFFERENT. Oh, she's a prep. Oh he's a jock. I realize that the people in the world will never get along with every person they meet, but why do ya'll have to group people? Whats up with that? I am the type of person who would like to wear either really "preppy" clothes or "punkish" clothes. Whatever satisfies me, i will wear it, but i get called a fake for doin it. It is so irritating. But whatever, i guess i can't stand ignorant people too much.
