Earlier this week this girl I know who i've liked for some time now, asked me if i'm taking anyone to homecoming. And I didn't so of course I said, No. About three days later the bell rings to go to the buses and i'm almost out the door and I see her just standing beside the stairwell, I just pass her, kind of with an awkward glare. She catches up to me and asks me the same question. And like last time I said, No. So she asks me "Will you take me to homecoming". HECK YEAH! Oh no.. Homecoming?! I'm assuming it's a Date.. Considering people consider homecoming to be the fall prom (At least where I live). Well i'm no expert on being suave, so my question is.. I need a little bit of pointers on how to make this go as smoothly as possible.. And i've heard about the.. Slow dance Eek! To be honest, i've really never been on a date like this, and i'm really nervous, because I don't want to screw this up!! I really do like this girl.. Any advice is appreciated! Razz

my advice, is just be yourself, if she asks you to her I am assuming she likes you just as much you like her. Of you are dreading the slow dance, take dance lessons, ask her if you two can abstain from the slow dance,or just dance your best and enjoy each others company. just be yourself, and have fun. and if you do screw up a little, forget it and think about your awesome date. I read that mints help one from not being ad nervous. But, this is my knowledge, and it ain't really from expeirence, just what I seen that seems to work. Good luck, and have fun!
