This question had boggled my mind on many levels. Well let's break this down.
The first part is; what happened to actual true love between two people? All I see now are people going out just to boost their reputations. Its kind of sickening really.
The second part is that love used to be something that only people that actually meant it said it. Now it can just be another four letter word that can be tossed around for the hell of it. Such as: **** or ****.
It's just showing me that love isn't what it used to be anymore. I'm not an old timer, I'm only 16. But all this is just leaving me with the same question. Where is the love?
Do you know what I'm talking about? Theres probably more but these are the top most things that have been bothering me.

Since no one is taking this poll serios I will !!! Anyway I haven't fallen in love yet either and I honestly don't connect with anyone I've dated and I mainly do it because I'm bored and want a guy to play mind games on...I know thats wrong but I can't help it because I'm a very passionate person who can't connect with anyone so why bother. Anyway the guys I date only want me for my looks and I get lonely and unstatisfied with every guy I date. Besides I hate turning people down and I've only been single for like 2 1/2 weeks at a time and this year my record has been 3 days tolerating a bf and the rest have been one night flings. Well I hate to poor out my life story but I'm very disappointed with the male race right now and I'm kinda haven an off day. Peace out!

I don't believe in cheese either. It's all a big scam to get rid of old milk.

Okay, I'm liking that right up there! ^ I often wonder the same thing too, and it frustrates the heck out of me. I hate the way our society is today, which is why I desperately want to do something to change it. I think the biggest lost of American society (something that we used to have just 30 years ago) is respect. Once we show more respect for others - and, ourselves - that will lead to more love, peace, and kindness in one another. I'm one of the ppl who is going to crank up the respect just by being compassionate...who's w/ me? God Bless, *~Collielvr~*

Right here! I WILL SAVE YOU ALL! *hands out free samples of love* Love is as real as any other emotion. Nobody ever questions hate, do they? You just have to be cynical about the greatest force of good in the world. Love hurts sometimes. I know that as well as anyone. But you don't see me getting mad and denying that it even exists. Bex

I hear that a lot. It may be true, but so far no one's convinced me I should give it another chance.

Love gots its asss kicked by hate, apparently.
It is now simply a figment of your small imaginations..

yes I think I know what you mean. I thought I was in love (which now I realize is stupid) but then I talked to a friend of my boyfriend and she told about how he was always talking about all these girls who liked him and he didn't know if he thought they were prettier than me. Needless to say we aren't going out anymore. (Of course I should mention he dumped me)
But I've given up on love. I don't think that people fall in love. I think people just meet someone just as delusional as them and they think they've met their sole mate. As long as they are happy it doesn't really matter. Of course anyone who thinks they are in love will disagree and probably call me bitter. And so I'll do it for you, Yes I know I'm bitter.
But I don't want to ever 'fall in love' because I'd rather be cynical and bitter than live in a dream world.
So that's my view of love, or part of it anyway.
