Sounds like Jarem has issues and needs counseling.

i think that you should talk them into sitting down with eachother and talking about things. Like how they feel about eachother and the things that they misss about eachother and what they want in their futures and how the other one could be apart of that. you also need to talk to them about how you feel about the whole thing.
