Well my girlfreind had to break up with my becasue her mom said she cant date intill shes 18. is that even fair?

I still don't agree about the sex bit, but I do agree with the being good friends bit.

Yes, I'm being serious. Her parents could have other reasons, but I can practically guarantee that their daughter having sex is at the forefront of their minds (proof here).

And I stand by my advice. Your best bet in this situation is to become the "boyfriend" who's really not much more than a good male friend. Her parents can't reasonably stop her from having a social life.

Eh, regardless of your current ages, no dating until 18 is a little harsh. Do you know the girl's parents? You could try introducing yourself and making a good impression. The odds are they're just terrified she'll get pregnant. If you have no intention of having sex with her in the near future, you should at least be able to convince her folks to let her hang out with you. And then, behind the parents' back, you could just call that dating. That's what I'd do, at least.
