I used to be all about judging based on age differences, but I have been forced to rethink my views. Honestly, if it feels comfortable, then there's no problem. Of course it gets sticky if sex is involved, because that is illegal. However, I think maturities need to be matched so that one person isn't taking advantage of the other. I'm a little skeptical of the situation because you say this guy "really loves" you and obviously it hasn't been a very long relationship. one of my favorite sayings is "age is just a number." sometimes i think that has limits though. granted i dont know this guy and i can not judge him but you have to take into consideration the minds of guys. im not going to explain further i think you got the idea. but hey love is love age is just a number so have fun just be real cautious and dont do anything illegal i.e. sex

Having sex at that age is illegal. Dating isn't. My great-grandparents were more than 10 years apart in age and they were married for a very long time, so it's pretty fair to say that age doesn't much matter. That's not to say things are perfectly all right. Your parents may act differently because they may perceive you guys as moving too fast. I wouldn't go so far as to say that you don't know what love is at 15 (since that's something only you can say for sure), but people generally think that younger teens have yet to mature enough to really know if they really love a person. As for what you should do...my answer is as it always has been: do what you want and/or feel is right. Asking random people on the Internet isn't generally the best thing to do. It's your life, run it how you see fit.

The sticky is a good idea, but most of the people making these posts just register post whatever their problem is and never visit the site again, so the chances of them actually paying any atention to the sticky are slim. funny how we never se any I love her but she's x years older than me. Cap, no offense, but so are you.

You've got to be careful with this situation. It is illegal if you guys have sex. He could get in trouble for it, but I don't think it matters if you guys are just dating. Oh and your parents if they say they don't care, don't worry about it.
