Oftentimes they regard the convict as less-than-human due to the nature of their crimes. The general feeling is, once you rape someone or shoot a person in cold blood, you give up your humanity. You don't really deserve to live given what you did to other people.

That's how some (not all) get over the idea of killing another human.

They might and they might not. The brain is a powerful instrument. Also, you may hate/feel guilt about doing something, but you still do it. I sometimes feel guilty about throwing away food, but I still do it.

look i never said that we could kill witches. I am against that also, no matter who you are or what religion you are you shouldn't be killed. Its not fair that other people have to suffer along with the rest. I don't see how the police or whoever does the killing of the prisoner doesn't feel guilt. And I also think that you may not be able to cure cancer in jail but you can still write and solve how you might cure it.

You claim to be Wiccan and you don't know that? The representations of the divine, according to Wiccans, is a God and a Goddess, the polar opposites, the balance. The god is the Sun, and the Goddess the Moon. In modern [teenage] Wicca it's either an "I hate Xianity" fest, or "I don't know what I'm talking about" fest. I had the luck to have entered the religon ( although briefly ) with the help of a true Wiccan.

All Gods lead to the same Source, friend.

Listen, while you use God to argue, keep in mind that not everyone believes in God.
So your argument is completley futile against a Wiccan, Atheist, or me.
Personally, I think it's a load of dung that God created the Earth. I'm a strong believer in the Big Bang theory.
Now honestly, people will NEVER see eye to eye in religion. So try to use just humane logic and reasoning.

Besides, the 10 commandments are subjective. Accidental death via car accidents-- does that go against the 10 commandments? You didn't try to kill anyone, but it happened.

because if you do your sick people like you don't deserve to live but if your willing to make it up to the poeple's family members that you didn't kill do it even if your in jail its not fair that we get to take everyone's life that we want to my gosh people have the criminals help with the world like with firfighting so that the people who try to do good don't die in the fire but the people who did evil die for something they shouldn't die for nothing i mean if you kill someone and they are in jail for killing someone else and they have family memebers look at the pain your causing its not fair and why should the person's family have to pay huh tell me that tell me

How about no one discusses God in this?
God does not play in law.
Or it shouldn't.
Rationalization, judgement and fairness is a part of law.
