Matt Drudge is at it again, but this time it's John Kerry that is at the center of an alleged affair.

Remember, folks, Drudge is the guy who broke the Monica Lewinsky-Bill Clinton ordeal.

Some stuff on Drudge's site could be labeled very "spotty" but for the most part, he digs up the dirt.

Well, I'm kind of an oddity politically. On the one hand, I'm pretty moderate and tolerant. On the other hand, I can hold views or methods to solving problems that could be called "authoritarian" or even "fascist" by some people. Yet I generally contend that traditional values are best, and that a smarter, not larger role of the government in the economy is best (which is of course a very non-totalitarian). And that's all pretty much motivated by belief in the need for more Social Justice... Hence my name.

I could easily tolerate Joey back when I was "see you in 2069" and he was more of a libertarian/centerist, but he's gone too far, I know communism does not work, that human societies (at least those today) are completely unlike the beehive and the anthill, and that socialism too can be taken too far, I know what I believe, and I despise him telling me what I am, labeling me as such. I consider myself a leftist, who politics do not deviate much from the norm! I've never even read anything by Marx for gods sake.

Prepaid: Thanks.

Yeah, what Joe says sometimes sounds more like the hard-line anti-Communists of the 1920's than the McCartyhists.

Personally, I despise Communism. It ultimately ruins everyone (except for the ruling elite), and it's been the source of more evil in the 20th century than I can begin to imagine. Socialism I can deal with, even though it carries a lot of red tape and (IMO) ridiculously high taxes and anti-Rich/Middle Class ideological baggage.

I also hate these sorts of sleazy, tabloid-type allegations. What Kerry does in his private life, so long as it isn't seriously illegal, is his own business. Anyway, it's not like this is going to really hurt him that much. Kerry has a pretty low level of Charisma/likeability with voters.

I wish I could say the same for Joey but he tends to resort to emotionally charged and irrational "red scare" labels. Smurf, we're not talking 50's, we're talking the 20's.

Joey here used to be a libertarian, but lately he's turned towards the far right, and he's taken the "liberty" out of libertarian.

Justice, I'm glad you can be civil, Leftists and Convervatives alike should emulate his calm argumentive style.

I do say, that was clever.

Yeah, I bet you spend nights dreaming of being in a prominent position where you can fling blacklists about. You're first name is already Joe, just do something about the last name.

Just as Kerry is equally or close-to equal, of that of Jane Fonda in egging on the torment of our POWs in Vietnam.

Comrade, the seekers of truth are not popular, but demonizing someone by calling them a liar does nothing to help convince other people that Drudge was lying.

You're just mad because a fellow "comrade" is getting lit up.

Maybe you should be put on a blacklist. Would that help?

Yes, because John Kerry, being 1 of 77 Senators who approved Iraq War Resolution, is equally responsible for everything surrounding the War in Iraq. It just makes sense.

Explain how he could give George Bush his blessings for war, then criticize him for going to war?

You are Either for the war, or against the war.

You can't have it both ways.

Kerry is equally responsible for the war in Iraq, there is no way around it Smurf.

This guy just goes against people who he doesn't favor. Common sense.

Let see if Kerry will win. God forbid.

I could guarantee you if Bush decided to invade Iran or something, that there'd be a crap load of replies to those posts.

But another Democrat, another reported sex scandal, and another hypocritical silence.

Kerry said there's "no story" to these Matt Drudge reports, but he did not deny them either.
