In Madison, on Capital Square, Kerry will be appearing this Thursday at 11am for another awesome rally! Bruce Springstein and the Foo Fighters will be there. Ikki14Reed, are you going? KatieUSA11 and I are meeting up there, and I think ToeTrench will be going too. We should have some sort of YN Wisconsin reunion. Anyone else planning on going- For Kerry or to protest? What do you think about Bruce Springstein and the Foo Fighters coming to the Kerry rally- is it just a political brainwashing game, or is their appearance just a boost to the kerry-supporters energy? When I get home I'll post some pictures for all the Kerry supporters who couldn't go.

Alright. A little late, but I promised pictures. From the New York Times. I got the last two images off of an e-mail forward, I didnt get pictures that good or that close. It was awesome, though, very energizing. The atmosphere was nice and very friendly. The lines lasted for over 10 blocks to get into the rally. The person behind me and my family was really nice, we got tlaking about vegetarians, Kerry, politics, and he ended up buying us something to drink while we waited. The entire place felt like one huge family reunion.

My aunt and cousin lives in Kenosha. I just figured I'd share. (They're also hardcore rightwingers, which is part of the reason I'm not big on Wisconsin.)

It was yesterday I know, and I would have liked to go but I live 3 hours from Madison in K-town. (Kenosha) 80,000 people was an amazing turnout for the event. Looks like Monday is going to be another BIG BIG event in Wisconsin in Milwaukee.

I don't love Wisconsin. I despise it. Then again, I'm originally from Chicago, and I live in St. Paul, so I can't really help it.

Carole King. And she only sang half a song. Bah.
What can I say? Everyone LOVES Wisconsin. (I'm not sure if that's sarcasm or not. I'll get back to you on it.)

I wish I could, but I can't spend anymore time in my car than I already have. I just drove two hours to see Kerry on Wednesday, and two hours home. And you know who our musical guest? Not Bruce. Not the Foo Fighters. Carole King. And she only sang half a song. Bah. But seeing Kerry made it completely worth it.

No, I'm not going. No one to go with, really, and I had to baby-sit this morning. Oh well. I'll hear all about it later. Have fun!
